Sir, this is a ND thread made to talk shit about BYU.Northern Illinois, Marshall, Stanford...
All teams better than byuNorthern Illinois, Marshall, Stanford...

One of the reasons I prefer away games.I'll second, it's been fun to listen to. Some know what's going on, others are pure vibes.
Can't wait to stand and cheer in a sea of blue
Have some sympathy. Years of soaking until marriage would make you insufferable too.Anecdotal, I know, but the BYU fans at ND in 2012 were the most insufferable group I’ve ever been subjected to in ND Stadium. Just an execrable amalgamation of delusion, self-righteousness, disregard for personal space, lobotomized smiles, an apparent ignorance of birth control, etc. Sat behind Tyler Eiffert’s aunt and she was beside herself.
These folks not just believe, but organize their lives around, perhaps the dumbest shit ever put in writing—“chloroform in print” as Mark Twain famously described the doctrine. Is it any wonder their message board commenters have that kind of shit clanging around in their heads?
Really looking forward to this game.
It'd be nice to have 2 transitive conference titles if this happens and Miami/SMU win the ACC
I don’t think it’ll be that simple. Their QB was a true frosh last year and wasn’t fed much of the playbook as he just arrived on campus & was thrust into the starter’s role. Their beat writers were told this by the OC/QB coach. They’re excited of the dual threat he brings this season now that he’s had time to absorb the entire playbook. This BYU team seems to be pictured as being an offensive tough guy team, emphasizing power running.
If that's true, and passing is a lesser threat, and we have the best shutdown DBs in the nation, do we not man-up on the receivers and stack the box? Even run blitz a bunch? Where is the sudden offense threat from BYU coming from? Do they not have to grind?
another example of how conferences are too big. ND plays BYU but TTU does not. What does Joey McGuire say to that? But u could be right, it should be a good B12 conference championship gameI don't see BYU getting past Texas Tech.
Even with Sorsby out, Tech could have Nate Montana at QB and they'd still beat them 20-3, because BYU's offense gets stonewalled by Tech's defense.
