OMG...on come the "Notre Dame isn't for real" comments. I am going on the record that if it's not a called run, or something EG just flat pulls out of his *** he is not ready to play QB. No internal clock, struggles to read the D, can't adjust to the blitz, etc. Cannot believe we couldn't even get a FG there.

This is a complete cluster**** right now. We are absolutely killing ourselves with turnovers... miscues... bad play calling... bad field position.

So disappointing. Stanford is going to have all the momentum heading into half.

I'd like to see Tommy against Stanford we would be fvcked!

When Golson made that scramble, I said, No way Tommy makes that run. Then I saw the open man waving his arms by the end zone. Not being able to run Tommy would have looked downfield.

It was a great gain by Golson but a more experienced Golson would have found the open man and hit him for the score.

Chill. Stanford isn't doing much of anything on offense. Their D is good and we still moved the ball down the field. We need to convert, but people need to chill. We're down 4.

Tommy may have been on his *** already though too. Golson has saved us from a few sacks already.

No, we're down by a touchdown and the offense is playing like sh*t. Special teams is just as bad.

I think 10 points is the max we can score in the 2nd half. We're in trouble unless our defense delivers a shutout.

I could've lived with the fumble in the endzone but not the ensuing sequence where we stall on an impressive drive, miss an easy field goal, and then let Stanford make a 49 yd fg as the half expires. unacceptable.

I am hating EG at the moment (although the O Line isn't helping him AT ALL. Only problem is, I hate Rees even more. Unfortunately, he'll be starting in the second half.

I wish Farley could've taken that pick the whole way. That would be very nice right now

Make it 7...but I have faith. We figured some things out on the last drive. Should have called a play for Eifert on 3rd down instead of Toma...but I am expecting the Irish to drive downfield and take momentum back in the 2nd half!

Terrible playcalling and sheming. Niklas should not be single-blocking their best defensive player(s).

No screens, draws, reverses, etc. to nullify the aggressive nature of Stanford's defense. And WTF is with throwing out of the end zone three straight plays? The touchdown is on Kelly for putting Golson in that position.

Feels like I am watching a tape of last years team. Frustrating... We need EG to stay in, but do more quick slants and designed QB runs to offset all the blitzing. Our defense is doing fine.

I'm still beyond pissed about those last two series. Fumble in the endzone thanks to horrible playcall + horrible execution... then missed field goal than to horrible playcalls + horrible execution in the redzone... gives Stanford just enough field position and just enough time to get a field goal.

This is pathetic. I don't know if it was the rain, college gameday, etc... I don't want excuses. I want Everett Golson to come out and make QUICK DECISIONS and if he can't do that then get Tommy in the game and run the ball. There have been people WIDE OPEN downfield on multiple plays Everett is just flat out late on his throws. Zero anticipation.

On the bright side, this could be a lot worse than 10-3 with the way the O-line is getting abused

He will not start the second half if we want to win. Do you remember what Stanford did to Rees last year? Didn't he get pulled for Hendrix? Golson is doing what he can, but the play calling isn't helping him. Every other call is a rollout to his right, which they obviously have gameplanned for by blitzing the edge. The key to this game is power, which starts with the run game. We are gaining decent yards on the ground and have went away from it most of the first half. Power needs to be the message sent in the second half.

West Virginia is down four touchdowns to an unranked team. 10-3 with ND's defense is not that bad.
