I’m not sure how many ELITE teams play in these types of games with bum ass teams like Pitt.

Well off the top of my head OSU plays with fire several times a year and losses one or two a year. Clemson has lost to bad teams and played with fire against Syracuse this year. UGA plays close from time to time. Unless you're saying only BAMA is elite than I have to disagree with you.

Slightly different. We were never truly threatened with losing those games. We trailed for like 34 minutes in this game and we were losing with less than 10 minutes to go in the game. We tasted mortality today.

Slightly different. We were never truly threatened with losing those games. We trailed for like 34 minutes in this game and we were losing with less than 10 minutes to go in the game. We tasted mortality today.

I can't remember the last time a great team didn't peer into the abyss at least once per season. It builds character.

For the team. This is a great time, it truly is. Hopefully our guys can get healthy. Kareem is an animal, he gets an extra week to heal up. Though he probably doesn’t want it. It’s natural for these kids to get tired, and I think we saw that today. Give our coaches two weeks off and damn, I feel bad for the future teams.

There is no way Book plays like this again.

FWIW, I did not say he’s not a good QB. And said the entire time I expect to learn from this.

Yes, he made some throws late. But this game is different if hits/or sees some of those throws early.
