AT&T fiber for me with YouTube TV. Honestly a perfect setup. Zero lag, slight slight delay. No other cons.

Oh, and I split the package with my brother. So $30 bones a month lol.

Exactly what I’m getting ready to do, switching to fiber optic and YouTube TV. Will save me $120/month and I will get the ACC Network

I dunno about that.

Ever since 2017, ND has done a pretty good job of putting teams away that they should. That hasn't really been an issue for a while. The issue is that ND hasn't been doing a good job of winning the premier matchups.

I know it’s not rational, but when Pete Sampson absolutely dismisses an opponent as having zero chance, ND seems to struggle to win a game that was way closer than it should be. Again...I know it’s not rational b/c Sampson is correct...ND should wipe the floor...but three weeks off w/ a pass offense that has yet to find it’s groove?

Ball St & Vandy were supposed to be over by half and they both dragged into the fourth quarter in 2018. That led to Book replaying Wimbush so maybe we’ll get that Book today...hopefully.

Have any of these online TV streaming services gone truly a la carte? I'd love to be able to just pick 5-10 channels and only pay for those. I've been getting by with just a antenna and online bootleg streams for the past 2 years but it would be nice to actually pay for the quality streams of sports channels. I just have no interest in everything else

Ball State and Vandy were more due to ND's shortcomings at QB. I get that people rag on Book, and some of it is justified, but Wimbush literally struggled at damn near everything QB related that didn't include running the ball.

We also didn't have anywhere close to the line and RB play we have today (remember, no Dexter in those games either).

A very large majority of the time, ND takes care of business against teams they should.

Stability is more important than "max speed" anyway. Tehcicnally you only need, what, 15 mbps for a 4k stream?

If you haven't had any issues yet (assuming isp stays consistent) should be golden.

Welcome to the future of TV!

I fear that all these streaming services eventually lead us back to cable packages though someday...way more expensive cable packages.

That’s why I mentioned that the lack of offense led to the QB change. Wimbush could not make the short passes that were easy lay-ups. Book struggled w/ that in Game 1 against a bad team but I chalk that up to game one rustiness. Game 2 didn’t require him to be chucking it over the yard so my hope is he comes out and takes what the D gives him which will hopefully build up his confidence.

You know FSU is going to go man and try to stop ND from establishing the run. Hopefully, we see the backups at some point.

Book struggled in game 1, but not anywhere close to as badly as Wimbush did v. Ball State.

Not to mention, he was missing his 2 best receiving targets.

Wimbush had 3 picks and a QBR of 12 against a really bad Ball State team.

Duke isn't great or anything, but they're better than their record indicates (if they stopped turning the ball over 5 times a game).

They can try and go man, but we'll see how that works. They still have to cover guys like Austin and Lenzy, and not to mention, even if they stack the line, their front hasn't been that good at stopping the run and our line has been pretty good at running it.

Little to do with this game, but I finally made the decision to cancel my cable TV and switched to Hulu Live...

I just gained the ACC Network and started saving $60/month.

WTF. I should have done that a long, long time ago.

I agree. We did the same thing last season.

I hope so. Although don’t get carried away w/ Austin. I doubt he sees more than 15 snaps. They need to ease him back in so he can be closer to 100% for Louisville & onward.

Ok - enough of the cable/tv/streaming providers.... LOL

Looking for minimum 250+ yards on the ground before the back-ups come in in the late 3rd/early 4th....

the F$U defense is so porous if I strained spaghetti through their colander, it would be empty.

Things I want to see:
1. Kevin Austin starting to get some action. One or two catches would be enough for me to be happy.
2. Jordan Johnson makes a big play.
3. Michael Meyer gets a Touchdown.
4. Chris Tyree breaks a long run where we see his speed.

This should be a good game to get some guys the ball and let them get their first live licks. Here’s to a good game.

Well Lads, I am excited. First ND game I am able to watch this season. Being a bit of a contrarian to comments on the board, I'm betting The Irish come out strong and manhandle FSU. Looking forward to finally seeing Tyree. Hope Book comes out strong and confident.

Cheers and Go Irish!!

I'm pumped and ready, but my F'ing local broadcast is double boxed with weather people talking about tornados many many miles away from me. Can't hear the broadcast.... FML.

Can't read the image, but BK said early he's not going to rush Austin back, or force fit him early. I read it as late snaps, or pitch count.
Sampson said KA wasn't running with 1s or 2s pregame

I wouldn't expect him to run 1st team to be honest given what BK said earlier this week.
IDK. Maybe doghouse (wouldn't surprise me at all), or maybe folks looking for a click.
