The only problem with doing a trial for YouTubeTV is that you won't want to cancel it.

I have Xfinity for internet and I would have to pay double for TV to match what I get from YouTubeTV. And the recordings are unlimited, smart, and they record the whole game no matter when it ends.

Yeah I did YoutubeTV for the Northwestern game last year and wish I could've convinced myself to keep it. Definitely a good deal

Thank you, fellas. I was thinking about moving away from DirectTV anyways. This free trial I now need might turnout to be a keeper.

Anyone know what the best Tailgating spot is?

For anyone going, I compiled some info from Duke's website today

A-Z Info regarding this game
https://goduke.com/news/2019/11/3/athletics-duke-football-gameday-changes-for-notre-dame.aspx?fbclid=IwAR3dMXCwwypte8L2EtlxOISlxNORiHyxA1mqiRTwgOoIx4QG2iftpYtWJW8

Pre-Game Parking Map

Post-Game Exit Map
https://goduke.com/documents/2019/11/2//Notre_Dame_Post_game_Traffic_Map_10_31_19.pdf?id=19903

General Public Parking Hours:
Park & Walk Tailgate Lots Opening at 7:00 AM – Jogging Trail Lot, Chemistry Lot, Circuit Drive Lots, Duke University Road Lots
RV/OV Tailgate Lot Opening at 7:00 AM – Small Circuit Lot
Black Shuttle Tailgate Lots Opening at 11:30 AM – GC & H Lots
Black Parking Garages Opening at 11:30 AM – Research Drive Garage, Parking Garage 1
Park & Walk Tailgate Lots Opening at 4:30 PM – Campus & Anderson Lot
Green Shuttle Parking Garages Opening at 4:30 PM – Hock Garage, VA A Garage

Blue text are lots where you can tailgate. The GC & H lots are a short shuttle ride towards the stadium. Jogging Lot is closest but will likely fill up quickly in the AM.

If you're looking for things to do:
Breweries: Ponysaurus, Fullsteam, High Wire, and Clouds are all cool places. There are some others too.
Casual Food: Heavenly Buffaloes (delicious wings), Dane's; Bull City (burgers), The Federal (divey American), Pizzeria Toro, many others
Breakfast / Brunch: Guglhopf, Fosters Market, Parker and Otis
On Campus: Chapel, Cameron Indoor, beautiful West Campus all around, East has a nice walking path around the perimeter (note this is ~1.5 miles from the stadium / West Campus, but there are shuttles that run btw the two), Sarah Duke Gardens
Around Town: Bulls Stadium, not too far from Chapel Hill

My recommendations are from my personal experience, and I'm sure I'm missing a lot. I went to Duke for a year but the tailgate scene was something else when I was there, so I needed to do some add'l research. Hope to see some of you out there!

Anyone know any decent bars where Irish fans gather in the North Indy area? I never heard of ACC Network until this week.

I’ve heard it’s a long walk from locker room to the field and they only hold 40K people. Other than that, I know nothing of Wallace Wade Stadium.

ND needs to put them away comfortably. It doesn’t have to be a blowout but it doesn’t need to be close, either. If it’s another FG game (or worse) then we have ourselves a trend of three games in a row where ND under performed & it’s likely to lead to a loss or two.

If it’s a comfortable win, then hopefully the page has been turned and ND runs the table to finish 10-2.

The only good Irish Pub in the Carmel area that I can remember is Muldoon's. Good food and cool neighborhood atmosphere, but not sure about about game day stuff or ND fans. Brockway Public House is more of a sports bar, (I've only been in for a quick beer), and I've heard of a few ND watch meets there over the years IIRC.

If you're willing to go downtown-ish, or farther south, much better bars for ND fans IMO. If you want a real Irish Pub experience, go to the Golden Ace. Haven't been in 10+ years, but pretty sure it's still owned by the same Irish family (Cathedral fam). Been in the same hands since the 30s I think, and they are crazy ND fans.

Problem is...I’ve been asking around on the south side and am finding most bars don’t have ACC network either.

I just signed up for the YouTube TV 2 week free trial yesterday, so I can watch from home tomorrow night.

I remember the Golden Ace from the early 70's when I met my wife. Never been in it. BGIF beat me to it. I get emails from the Indy club all the time. They usually post where the watch party will be.

DirecTV doesn't carry it, so I signed up for a Hulu trial.

yeah I think you need to buy their "sports pack" to get the ACCN. It also includes CBSSN NBCSN BTN and all the regional Fox sports channels. costs 13 bucks a month or so.

All the pay for streaming bullshit is getting old. $10 here, $10 there - everyone wants a piece of the pie.

i did the Youtube TV trial and streamed it from my phone to my smart TV for the ND/UNC bball game the other night.

If that's how any of you plan to watch, do yourselves a favor and turn off all notifications, or you're going to have a very annoying watching experience. I kept getting ESPN updates, texts, etc popping up and it was very annoying.

Also be ready for sub-par picture and a slight lag.

it's also fairly easy to find illegal streams, i've watched a couple ACCN games already this year, the Clemson vs GT at the beginning of the year and the ND vs UNC basketball game a couple days ago. the buffers can be annoying but it's free.

I like how this one sets up for ND. Duke just can't seem to run the ball and this will be one of the best D lines they see. If ND gets them in 2nd and 3rd and long, this one could get out of hand pretty quickly. The Duke QB likes to give the ball to the defense so I look for the Irish defense to get some turnovers.

The D has held up all year when the O isn't going 3-and-out every series and keeping them on the field all game. With that said, interested to see how their DL stacks up with our patchwork OL and if we can establish any semblance of a run game. Seems Book is only able to operate when the D isn't loading the box and playing close

Thanks for this thought. I just discovered that I have the channel on my app, but not on my tv. Weird. I'll be watching on the Ipad Pro or the bar.

I’ve been once. Carmel has the duplicate of just about everything downtown has without the traffic. It’s on the list.
