The staff didn't seem to think he'd be interested in staying for a fifth year anyways. Not sure how legit that rumor is.

Seems like they are predicting something way too far in advance. I find it hard to believe that the coaching staff would believe a freshman in college would have the same plans his senior year. How many of us here switched majors at some point? How many of us considered transferring from whereever? I'm sure it's a majority.

I'm sure the defensive ones are thoroughly impressed with BVG's "11 guys running around like chickens with their heads cut off" scheme.

I swear, this entire season could have the Benny Hill theme song playing any time Golson touched a football or the defense was on the field and it would synch perfectly.

Honestly, here's my take...guys get hurt because they are thinking too much on the field instead of reacting and relying on instincts. Sounds dumb but they are just thinking way too much out there.

I mean, this defense is worse then the team that went 3-9. Just overly complicated. It's hard enough for the NFL guys to grasp it let along college freshman. BVG has managed to make Jaylon look normal. They need to re-evaluate the DC position and defensive coaches.

This is beyond bad, it's historically bad. I've changed my stance on him. Time to go in a different direction.

Well, I guess BK will have to go back to his roots at Central Mich and Cincy and get those 2 and 3 star recruits and make it work. Because, the way this is going that is the only ones that will want to come to this program. Crazy to see how bad we have become.

This is a good point that I haven't seen mentioned.

BVG's scheme is too much for this level. If it was the NFL or North Carolina, players could study it all day. Here they have to study for calculus or accounting or whatever. They can't dedicate enough time to this crazy awful scheme.

I completely agree. They are playing tentatively because they don't know what to do in week 12. That equals getting injured a lot of the times.
