BK has taken a dumpster fire program and turned it what we see today. Let us not forget the embarrassment that was George O' Leary. So they've had a few bad games and people are quick to throw him to the wolves. The guy is trying to build a complete roster after years and years and years of incompetent recruiting.

ND got a taste of the Natty only two years ago. Stick with this team and chill the hell out. Stick with the man that has stuck with this team and this school.

This team has thicker skin then most of you, thinking your cool calling out a bunch of college kids for being soft. GTFO with that garbage. Have some fucking pride and grow up.

You know your watching a bad football team when the list of guys that deserve to win is shorter than those that don't. You know your watching a bad football team when the list of guys that deserve to win is shorter than those that don't. Like I said last week and it continues, I haven't been this disappointed in a team in a long time.

The guy has a .710 winning percentage for the last 25 years. He hasn't forgotten how to coach or how to win. What more do you want from him in regards to the FG holder? He's trying. This has got to be the youngest defense in the NCAA. Look at who exactly is playing. Jacob Matuska is getting burn at DT. Look at where he was on the depth chart to start. Plus losing 4 key contributors before the season started. While also not able to field a team of 85.

Previous winning percentage means absolutely nothing for last Saturday or this. There are numerous mistakes in every single facet of the game. Offense, ST's, and defense, Thats on the coach. I'm not saying fire Kelly but this is not a well coached team we've watched recently. Well coached teams win close games, especially against inferior (NW) competition.

Yeah, why? Only thing I can chime in with is our old DC had nothing...but we changed up and all of a sudden three DTs are signed up. But they are young.

I understand but look at the perception BK has had to deal with ESPECIALLY when he first got here. Nobody wanted to come. Then he starts getting guys like Tee Shepard who turn out to be, well, Tee Shepard. It's not like he hasn't tried to get top talent. Then he tries his backup plan but that turns out to be a kid who's not willing to do that extra credit needed. Then he gets a stud like Vanderdoes who repays him by skipping out after Signing Day.

He wasn't able to recruit the first few years the way he has the last couple of years so yea, there is somewhat of a void.

I'm not absolving him of everything but trying to put some perspective on the reality of the situation.

First of all, if you can't come even close to accomplishing your #1 priority then we're in trouble. Secondly and most Importantly is if we're indeed focused on stopping the run, why are we running a nickel D on 1st and 2nd downs (4-2 look). We want our freak LB ATH (Jaylon)matched up on guards in the run game. Haha what a joke. How many times was Jaylon on his back after a first down on the ground, too many.

I haven't read all through this but I hate when BVG keeps sending the blitz when no one gets to the QB. Send 36...zero even gets close. Rush three...and defend the field.

Probably Jaylons worst game. I actually felt bad for him. Idk if it was the position he was put in but he could not shed a block or was getting lo-jacked all game.

He's just not an ILB against the run game. No reason he should be in that spot in running scenarios. Put him there on 3rd and long or obvious passing downs, I think he's great but watching Okwara try and tackle in space (on the edge) and then watch Jaylong getting blocked up the middle was excruciating.

I was just giving out a hard time about all the next year stuff. I am on record as selling my stock in Kelly. I am not upset at the defense. I understand we have young inexperienced kids out there because of necessity. My beef is that they are obviously not being utilized correctly or are not getting what BVG is laying down. Kelly looked like he wanted to masticate BVG s head tonight. And like LL said watching Okwara struggling on the edge while Jaylon got eaten alive up the middle was painful. I don't understand it.
