A lot of mental mistakes and lack luster play today. But we did put up almost 450 yards on the number 1 defense in the country while turning the ball over 5 times. Learn to protect the ball and this game is a blowout. Don't know if it is the typical "playing down to our opponent" or if we have regressed the past couple weeks. We will see what happens next week.

There will be no more undefeated Big 12 teams. As they cannibalize each other, the "quality win" becomes less impressive. Have to take care of business next week. Would be icing on the cake if Oklahoma and some others lost but I don't believe it is necessary if we can go out and play up to Stanford's caliber and win by 10+.

Exactly. I'm sorry, and I may be in the minority, but having played college ball, this game is completely on the players. Dropped passes galore, stupid fumbles, two inexplicable INTs, misreads on read options, and missed tackles everywhere. That's the definition of putting your guys in the correct position to make plays and the players not doing so.
