Said it before, I'll say it again.

Good for northwestern. They deserved to beat us. Now they can celebrate.

If we would have won, I'd feel the exact same as I do now.

Nothing would have changed, I would have been just as frustrated.

First Notre dame loss in my lifetime that i watched all the way through and am not even mad about. truly deserved to lose. heck, they tried their damnest to lose and eventually succeeded. truly a pitiful performance. I'd like to see Kelly take responsibility starting now. I want him to be our coach for 2015 but i want him to stop blaming others and start looking in the mirror. he always has excuses but never puts the onus on himself. the closest was the alabama loss but even then he put it on everyone.

Problem is that very little discussion is going on. It's just constant, "we suck", "god we are awful", "are we ever going to win another game?", "can we just stop playing football?"...

I understand everyone's frustration, but I would think you could come up with things that are a bit more intelligent.

If losing Schmidt really matters this much, I think you need to rethink the whole scheme. Because I am sick of hearing how he was the one setting all the plays up. Get rid of the defensive coordinator then. Because what the hell does he do then?

The progress we've made from year 1 to 5 seems now almost nonexistent. How is it even possible that we lost to Northwestern at home in year 5 of Brian Kelly? I've been as big a BK supporter as anyone but this a joke. The last 2 weeks have been Charlie Weis all over again. We have too much talent and too easy a schedule to be staring 7-5 in the face.

This loss is solely on Brian Kelly. Yeah our players didn't execute but it is his job to have them ready and to coach them. We are turning the ball over at a historic rate. And please no one do the whole "well this is the team we all expected at the beginning of the year" because no one expected to lose to Northwestern. Yeah they're young but we did ball security drills in pee wee football.

At least we don't have to worry about BK going to the NFL.
