I'll be happy with any type of solid win.

If the invisible powers are willing, I'd also like seeing several sacks (our DL having some backfield team meetings) and some picks (maybe two by our super safety.)

I’m more nervous for this game than the game last week. BC is good we gotta come out ready to play as if this was Clemson.

Remember: BC’s entire football tradition is a Hail Mary pass against Miami and a field goal against Notre Dame. Their brand is an inferiority complex. To hell with them.

Last time they were looking for a big upset at home they had Bill Romanowski. Did a big pregame video that was shown on the big screen before the team took the field, trying to get the stadium fired up....kind of like the one Metallica did for Virginia Tech. I expect they're going to play this one tomorrow.

Absolutely, they can't make a big bowl so this is typically their season. BC and Pitt live for no reason other than to spoil seasons, they put all their energy into it.

This can’t be a serious statement

Were you old enough to remember the BC upsets? May have been awhile ago, but they like to play us close still...closer than it ever should be.

I'm not overconfident, but this ND team seems to know how to win. I expect a struggle early, and ND powers away. I hope this doesn't come back to bite me, but ND 42-13.

I'm also more nervous about this game than the game last week, because we have already won the game last week.

Neither of the BC games with Elko/Lea have been close.

2017: 49-20
2019: 40-7

If this was the same bc staff as the past few years I'd be comfortable. I think this guy they got there now is gonna do well. Let's hope he has to wait for a signature win

Line is shifting towards BC late. That almost always means we’ve got some COVID issues...

The lack of announcement from yesterday’s test results seemed a touch ominous. If it was another set of all-negatives I think they would have said so.

In the days since the game, the Irish players have been tested four times; there were no positive results as of Friday evening. With his team now ranked second in the nation and scheduled to play at Boston College on Saturday, Kelly said he does not spend much time worrying about infections.

That just tells us that none have been announced publicly yet. The line moving tells us there are likely unannounced positives.

3 points this morning is a big swing. IMO, the only way it does that is if its Book, a boatload of guys, or both.

We can all take solace in the fact Im usually wrong.

Maybe Flutie put a cool mil on BC lol

I think you're making some assumptions. It's not rare to see a late move of a few points. Wiscy/UM moved 2 pts from yesterday too. Could there be some unannounced cases? Sure, but many expected the line to move simply because of the let down factor coming off the Clemson win.

A matter of fact, McAfee is on Game Day right now talking about the let down factor.

The fact remains a lot of money went on the BC side this morning, and that is concerning. Why, who knows, but its still something to monitor.

*As of right now, there is an even 50/50 split of public bets, but the line is moving. This means sharp money is siding with BC.

If I were still in my bookie and betting days, I'd honestly take BC at home given the situation (nothing to do with Covid) with any line over 10. It opened at 13.5 and 14 depending on the house, and I thought that was way high. BC kept it close with Clemson at Clemson. I know they had a let down last week (winning a tight one), but they were likely let down by the close loss to Clemson, and looking ahead to ND.

Personally my gut says we'll win by 20 or more, but my brain keeps saying 7-10pts lol.

Book is traveling.

So is Hamilton, KW, Tremble, Mayer, Hinish, Johnson, Wilkins, MTA, JOK, at minimum.

Yeah you’re definitely right that it’s not a sure fire thing or anything. Could be a number of reasons.. Something to watch though...
