I'd love to see just a complete bum rush on the dirty 'noles right from the kick off. Stick em early and and watch them quit like Miami did in the Sun Bowl in the cold.
FSU is awful. If this isn't ND's largest margin of victory this season, I'd be surprised.
Prepare to be surprised.

FSU breaking out white throwback jerseys for the game. Good choice. Let it snow!

Is this the coldest game FSU has ever played? How did they fare in any other sub-freezing games?
I hope they don't want to get off the bus. However, we haven't really played in too much cold weather either.
But we're practicing in it this week, which is good. Weather is a part of the game and it always makes me mad when big games are indoors or when people pretend that northern teams playing in the deep south in January aren't at a disadvantage.
When they get there a week before the game and have a chance to climatize? They aren't at a disadvantage.
The majority of bowl games are played in somewhat mild climates and/or domes. A few are played in South Florida, where you may have a point, if it weren't for the chance to practice and climatize in the weather for multiple days leading up to the game.
And probably every college program good enough to play in a bowl game to actually care about weather has indoor practice bubbles. They turn the heat up in practice. Same for NFL teams. And speaking of NFL teams, franchises in open-air stadiums, particularly from colder regions have fared much better than domed and/or warm weather franchises throughout history.
You mean in the league where playoff games are played at teams' home stadiums? All I'm saying is that neutral sites that are always close to certain teams aren't very neutral. Imagine if the Orange Bowl was replaced by a bowl game in Chicago, including playoff games. One state over from ND, but visiting teams a few days to acclimate. Is that fair? It's at least as fair as any game played against the SEC in Florida.
Big advantage for ND, just hoping ND is running the ball well to keep the clock rolling. Getting too old to sit thru freezing games at night for 4 hours...plus the pre-game festivities.

...already had that calculated, it's the drawn out games on NBC that irk me. Even when sitting in the comfort of my living room for most games.Drink more liquor...you won't feel a thing.
Don’t be a Nancy boy. I’ll be there and I’m looking forward to it.
Irishize - sorry, i was correct in the first place. Not sure what made me think it was opposite....

No problem. There does seem to be one caveat. Brian Burns is an elite pass rusher but the flip side is that he struggles in the run game so when ND does run the ball, they should run straight to him.
not about being a Nancy boy. Been to more games than most, all conditions. Don't usually travel to SB this late, just for this fact that weather Could be colder than desired. Sat through a Stanford game a couple of years back that was drizzle and 34 degrees. But back when I knew I was going to attend this game, kind of hoped for a cold weather game because should be Irish advantage.
FYI, was near 80 on Monday in Dallas. Florida boyz will be hurtin', but Irish need to take care of biz.
As far as this game with Fla St, the Irish DL should be able to live in the Nole backfield all night long. That Nole OL is one of the worst I have seen in a while. Get up on them early and they have shown they will quit. The Irish win this one going away.
Come on man! You've got to be kidding me. Heal up well young man, hope its not cracked ribs. That shit is painful.
