Now I'm picturing some school having the turnover turnover... home team gets an INT, all the fans throw apple turnovers all over the field....

Lol. Had a similar conversation this weekend. The filling could change from week to week. I’d take that over the Shamrock series. Lol.

Miami's turnover chain is so perfect for a lot of reasons. Tacky, and fits the convicts great. It's a case where teams should just let them have it. Any attempt to mimic will be lame.

Surprised Hawaii doesn't have a turnover lei

So,... it had no impact on you whatsoever then.........

Lol. I was like “dah faq they trying to play school for?”. That’s when I knew Taggart was in trouble.

That thing is almost enough to make you feel bad for FSU......... almost.

There's only one choice here. When they get a TO, Tonto rides Trigger over to the player who caused it and hands him... the Turnover Spear. Then they light it on fire.

What combustible would they use to light the spear?

Do the CFL teams have a turnover apology?

The turnover pretzel... upon the first overturned TO call we could witness true greatness:

Anyone else think both O lines could struggle? FSU has been terrible all year, but the ND O line hasn't been that strong and FSU still has studs on the D line.

This could be the one game where the Irish OL can get the run game on track. From some of podcasts I listened to, FSU is great at getting after the QB but struggle when teams run right at them. If that’s the case, combined w/ the cold weather; it may be a perfect storm for a smash mouth, clock bleeding game for the Irish.

ND needs to jump on them early. If they do FSU will quit. The line has been decent in pass pro. FSU sucks at both run and pass pro. So there’s a bit of an edge there.

They are horrible vs the pass, great against the run. Not a lot of INTs, but are decent sacking the QB. I think book will be fine if they let him be Book (quick short and intermediate throws). I hope Long runs more outside this game. If we try to be cute passing, and run it up the gut, it will be another first half of of frustration.

Guess I listened to the wrong podcast then. I think it was the ISD podcast so I’m not too surprised they missed the mark on their scounting report.

Brian Burns is a stud. That cat is a sack machine. Thank goodness the Noles OL is a sieve b/c Cam Akers would be a star on most P5 teams.

Total D - 83rd
Pass D - 23rd
Run D -128
Sacks - tied for 21st
INT - Tied for 47th

No worries. They have talent but there’s zero excuse for ND allowing this game to be in doubt in the second half. Alas, I said that about BSU, Vandy & Pitt.

From Douglas Farmer who covers ND for NBC Sports:

An over/under of 56 with #NotreDame still favored by 18 against Florida State sets the expectation of a 37-19 Irish victory.
Would be both the most points ND has scored against the Seminoles and its largest margin of victory.
