Five one game seasons left… Survival mode.
Some "trappy" games in there for sure. Navy undefeated albeit with a really soft schedule, @Pitt is the one I have circled. They are playing pretty good football and will be pumped for that game. Will be heavily favored in each game, and rightfully so, but as you said, it's playoff mode for ND. Lock in, one week at a time. Take care of business. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Now I just want to get through the season. I don’t want another 2013 or 2023 where after we get a big rivalry win after a few loses our season gets ruined by a trap game. In the aforementioned years it was our BCS/NY6 bowl hopes dashed but this year its our chance at a national title

Navy always scares me. That game is either going to be a blow out win for us or a close loss for us im afraid.
Count me in this group. An experienced QB at Navy playing a low possession game with ND’s short yardage/red zone issues + a roller coaster kicking operation…

I’d be more worried about Pitt and Standford if it was a night game Cuse and Boston college are trash, Navy hasn’t played anyone
So by definition Syracuse and BC are the trap games… due to no concern at all really.

But the lack of marquee opponents left sort of negates any "trap" imo. Who would ND get caught looking ahead to? There are no traps there, ND knows what it needs to do. The stretch run is garbage so they need to hammer teams like a playoff worthy team would.

It's a night game, crowd will carry the day and Navy is fucked.

Just keep pissing away money and betting against ND and we will be alright...

So then, running with that logic, which I totally understand and I totally agree with, the last game of the season would essentially be the trap game because they would be looking forward to a potential playoff game.

Nope, because they know they need to focus on winning all the rem regular season games to make the playoffs, including the last game of the regular season. The first playoff game is the trap game.

I can’t bet my normal $165 wager on FanDuel which has worked the last five games…I’ll have to place separate bets to get to that total …hopefully that doesn’t mess with the mojo this has brought.

Navy should never be close to an issue for a team with an offensive and defensive line. It will look like last year's game. What is that defensive line going to do against a line of this size?
