Your thoughts on Notre Dame ever joining the Big 10 Conference?
The Fighting Irish could still play USC every year and schedule Stanford as a non-conference game yearly with alternating years to the West Coast.
Notre Dame could still schedule Navy and Boston College as non-conference games.
That would also renew long-time rivalries with very close trips to Purdue, Michigan and Michigan State and also have short road trips where Irish Nation could take over the stadiums at Illinois, Indiana and Northwestern and what should be three easy wins.
Notre Dame had two exciting and winnable games the past two years against Ohio State and had quite a few terrific games in the past against Penn State. It would definitely make the Big 10 the best football conference.
