The own goal was bad luck for sure, I had never seen that happen before in lacrosse.

What a second half by the team. I was more worried about Denver than I was UVA or Maryland. Hopefully a relaxing game on Monday

don't know what got into Maryland this post season but they have looked impressive today and last week against Duke

Great win by the Irish today. They dominated in the second half and only let Denver score twice.

What impressed me most about the postgame is how Notre Dame athletes continue to talk about the culture in their sport at Notre Dame!

Guys hang around as long as they can can rarely does a contributor transfer out. So it’s not just talk.

Hard to say. No head to head between those three. Maryland staggered late in the regular season but has been terrific in the NCAA's. UVA was very inconsistent and had some big wins and bad losses including looking bad yesterday. Denver was solid all year but didn't have top end talent on offense. None of those three teams won their conference tourneys or were seeded in the top 4.

Maryland is probably the second best team in the country now. I'm expecting a dogfight for 3 quarters and then Irish handle business late.

As Lax points out we are deeper and that will be very important with the short turnaround. Lax teams rarely play more than once a week and when they do its usually 3-4 days apart.

Maryland is an incredibly well coached team. Tillman is as good as anyone in the country. Should be a great battle but the Irish just have too many guys who can beat you on the dodge. Won’t be easy but Irish go back to back.

game moved up to noon due to weather. Might get t'storms which would cause play to stop. Could be an all day affair guys.

If they end up playing in the rain it benefits Maryland because it'll be slick turf making it harder for Notre Dame to dodge. Notre Dame's advantage is that their offense is much better than Maryland's while both defenses are pretty evenly matched.
