Devyn Ford left?

No one really knows what he's doing. He could come back for a 6th year if he really wanted to but he knows he doesn't have a football future so he may be ready to hang them up.

I've still got high hopes for Mickey. Guy reminds me of Armando Allen.

Allen felt like every single run was just a shoestring tackle away from being a 20+ yarder... but the defense somehow always got his shoestrings.

Mickey seems to always be in pretty good position, and is even locating and trying to make plays on the ball... but seems to be victim to perfect throw/catch combos at an uncanny rate. Guy sticks to the WR's hip, elevates if it's a high-point throw, rakes his arms across if it's a normal throw, but his fingertips are always juuuuuuuust a few inches away. I've never felt like he's a liability, because he seems to always be right there.

Just a little more good fortune and the guy might have several INT's to his name.
I think Mickey’s mother just died a couple weeks ago after having a prolonged cancer bout. Pretty amazing that he was playing at all.

He better get at least one return TD against TA&M.
More seriously if he is a specialist returner why would he not be talked about return punts. Are the skill sets not the same?

Why could he not be in the 2-deep at WR? I know nothing about this guy other than he's small and fast.

To get him here you have to pitch him on competing at WR as well as KR/PR, IMO.
Yeah, i just can't see anything showing his ability to take snaps from some talented WRs.

Hope he's our first Tyreek Hill lol

I would almost count on him serving in both capacities as long as he can be trusted to field the ball cleanly. He clearly knows how to pick up yardage and that has to be the staff's plan.

The more I read about Harrison, the more I like this pickup and as some have said, hope he is our Tyreek Hill (or Zachariah Branch)!

Harrison looks like 0.2-3 slower 40 time than either of those guys. Savvy as a returner , but not break away speed by any means

His 40 time has been reported as 4.4 so still pretty quick.

Harrison is in the fold now, so this is moot. However, play with me on this hypothetical.

Let’s assume every returning WR on the Sun Bowl roster had a 10% chance (individually) of hitting the transfer portal after spring practice.

Then let’s say that signing the third incoming transfer WR increases that percentage chance by x%. At what x are you OK with Jaden Greathouse increasing to before you would decide to not take a third?

For example, if the percentage is still 10%, you add the third because nothing has changed. But how close to a 50/50 proposition are you comfy with?
