This happened... I'm not even a Canucks fan and it pumped me up... I was just on a sports forum like a week ago discussing the best defunct uniforms in sports and this was one of my top choices.

Why they ever moved away from them in the first place is beyond me... those unis (home and away) were awesome. I can only think of a few defunct unis I like as much.

I really liked Calgarys red and yellow unis, and the Minnesota North Stars green and yellow.

On a serious note. It was nice being one of the only nhl teams without a mascot. I didn’t care if they got one, since it’s for kids and all, but this thing is f*ckin brutal.

Its awesome IMO. If youre going to have a mascot, go all the way with it.

True story, I didn't share yesterday honestly because of KPENN, I'm honestly trying here bud.... but since you have taken to Gritty I assume it's all good:

I showed my wife the video of him skating in on his reveal video and was ready to start laughing with her... she just stared... I kind of chuckled and she gave me this sideways odd look like, "What, this isn't funny."
So I say, "this is pretty funny, no?"
Wife: "No, some idiot dressing up in the most stupid costume ever to make the flyers look bad isn't that funny, it's, dumb and kind of petty..."
I pause: "Babe, this isn't someone trying to make them look dumb, this is the ACTUAL Flyers new mascot."
Wife:..... "No way."
Me: "WAY!"
Wife busts out laughing.
