I mean, he's a good player and all but a "Revelation"? Those 2 guys he is playing with have a lot with it.

Yeah, I guess. But basically getting hardly anything to show for top end talent still is inexcusable in my books.

Also Kane is having a great year so it's hard to complain about his contract, but I said from the day it was signed, giving that contract to #19 was a huge mistake.

I'd be more worried about Ladd's probable departure in the offseason, if the Hawks didn't spew out quality wingers from their farm system like Alabama does NFL Linebackers.

Saad is the primary scorer for the Blue Jackets, so it makes sense that he's scoring more goals. Hell, he's arguably the only player on that team worth a damn. I never said he wasn't a good player, but he wanted more than what the Hawks could offer since they were being hog-tied by the cap.

And yes, Anisimov has been a revelation. A HUGE one. If you followed the Hawks, they've consistently struggled to find a long-term solution for their 2nd line centre. It's essentially been a game of musical chairs back there. Anisimov does a lot of the little things on the ice that gets Kane and Breadman quality opportunities. He's the big body in the middle that frees up the speedy scorers. He's not elite by any means, but he does his job perfectly.

Absurd? It's a lot of money, but Toews is one of the best players in the league and one of the best captains in any sport today. He's more than earned that salary.

With the way this season has gone, I wouldn't be surprised with the flyers knocking off Washington in the first round; giving the Pens and easy path to the finals. However, given how underwhelming the Pens have been even with their overrated core all in their primes I also wouldn't be surprised if they get knocked off too.

Also serious question, what business does a man have cheering for the the Browns, Penguins (I guess those 2 can make sense), and the Angels?

Honest answer:

Grew up in LA... Everyone out here just roots for whoever in football... The Browns won me over in the 1980s and I'm loyal to a fault so now I'll always be a Browns fan.

My entire family are all Angels fans, my parents honeymoon was three Angel games in 79 for example... Major Angel family. Only sport where everyone HAD to root for ____.

Pens, much like the Browns,... At the time the Kings had that thug image going on with SC, the Raiders and such... Hated that, so picked the Pens for a variety of reasons before they ever won anything... The collapse to Florida in 96 ish ruined me....
