Like I said If he goes back to 2011 form its a great pickup, otherwise it's pretty meh. Honestly i'll be shocked if he sticks there, watch me be completely wrong.

We have 0 depth at RW. I think he'll slot in nicely on the 2nd line. Always loved his game in Anaheim, Only 24 and is an RFA when his deal is up in 2016.

I'm not saying he's a bad player or anything, but He's 24 already and is going to need a raise. Why not use those picks to trade up and try and get a 1st round talent? They Devils need some impact forwards right now, they have none.

Definitely agree we should have traded back into the 1st but apparently Shero tried to with the two 2nd round picks but couldn't get it done.

Everyone assumed Saad would get a new deal and the cap casualties would be Sharp and Bickell. I'm guessing they're having trouble finding a trade partner for the other two.

I know Pittsburgh has talked to them about Sharp... but idk how realistic the talks are currently.

Hate to lose him but if he was added to the longterm core, he was going to kill cap space to continue the Bowman Shuffle. I have no doubt Bowman will get the Hawks another Cup but it sure would be nice to go back to back just once..

Really really bummed about him leaving. Would have much preferred Sharp, Hossa and Bickell to have been gone and Brandon have stayed along with some yearly mercenaries who want to win a Cup.

Oh I do too. I actually love the kid BUT he's a little guy like Teravainen who we all love. We need some size obviously and didn't get it back in trade. I've seen enough of Morin, Anisimov is a $3.5 cap hit so he's gone (plus he's no help to the Hawks) Tropp.... Meh another throw away.

That being said, the Hawks now have 2 bad azz 20 year olds under control for cheap. Kinda like Toews and Kane pt. 2.

I can't complain I guess, Bowman's Bowman. He'll win again, it's what he does and it's just not fair for the rest of the league. But hey we waited out turn to get him so I'll enjoy it. I still hate the Habs, Penguins and F*@k Wings in large part because of him. He's basically Dennis Rodman on Ice. Hated him till he put on the Red and Black.
