That's the story of their playoffs.

It's especially amazing that the Hawks won that marathon because of how they leaned on their top guys. Toews and Kane had close to 30 minutes of ice time. Bollig and Versteeg had less than 10. The Kings' time on ice was a bit more evenly distributed among everybody in the lineup.

As a Hawks fan, you do kind of worry about top guys getting hurt or wearing out. Last year, the fourth line was instrumental in getting Ws in the later rounds of the playoffs. This year, not so much.

We saw what the Hawks did last game w/ basically 1 line. Now if Hossa, Sharp, Bicks, and Toews decide to show up in one of the biggest games of the last 2 seasons I don't see anyway LA can stop the Hawks. Hawks have unreal depth, just need the "stars" to show up to play tonight.

Oh and Crawford keeping his cool might help a little too. Goalies have to be like pitchers, IMO. Shortest memory on the team.

Great game. This is what makes me think the Rangers can beat either of these teams though. We dont give up many thirds period goals and hold our leads. Seems like both these defenses give up a lot late in the game.

It is called skill. Kings play a great game and the Blackhawks have some bad Mo Fos that can score some amazing goals.

What a game. Kaner has scored or assisted on what, 7 of the last 9 Blackhawks goals? Amazing.

I could seriously watch these two teams play every night. Just great hockey.

Doughty is a boss. Hat off to him in defeat.

I've always respected Doughty, but the kid has elevated his game.
He's arguably the best defenseman in the game right now.

The only reason I say "arguably" is until I see Weber play on a NHL team with some skill, I can't rule him out.

That Kane goal was great, but his best play was the no look pass to Keith to tie the game. I leapt out of my seat!

Shaw did most of the work on this. The shot was well placed, but Quick couldn't see anything. Shaw had his big butt on his face the whole time haha.

That pass to Keith was fantastic.

Kings had the #1 defense this year my friend. They are just playing a great offensive team. Last two Cup winners right here!

Rangers only hope (which is happening) is the two teams in the West kick the crap out of each other.

Doughty's game has been this good for years (see his trophy case). He just doesn't get the respect because he plays on the left coast.

As a King's fan, last night was tough to watch. I think they let their chance slip past. I know they have come back before when they were doubted, but it was not against Chicago.

P.S. They need to start hitting the crap out of Kane. Giving him way too much space when he has the puck in the last two games.

Anybody I know has been considering Doughty a top 3 defensemen in the world for a long time. I guess I don't count because I'm Canadian haha.
