Well I got to go to work at 6 AM tomorrow. I'll be tired, pissed off, and in the mood to knock somebody f*cking out! Nobody better screw with me tomorrow about anything.

FYI I do totally blame myself for losing my poise and letting the Wild knock me off my square. At this point the only course of action is fuck the Wild!

Winner of game 5 takes the whole series. Let's Go Hawks!

Hawks looked awful again tonight, better bring their A game on Sunday or we are in serious trouble.

Yeah the Hawks were thoroughly outplayed by a faster, hungrier team tonight. They'd better straighten things out quickly or they will go the way of the Blues.

Hawks will be fine. Minnesota was underestimated by many heading into the series, which is baffling after they just dispatched a very good Colorado team. When it gets down to the marrow (right now), Hawks will rise up. 6 games.

They say a series doesn't begin till either somebody loses a home game or until someone is facing elimination. So really it hasn't even started yet. I just tend to hate getting thoroughly whooped. My hopes for this series are really about the same as they where after game 2 just taking a game or so longer than I thought. I can't for the life of me see the Blackhawks getting out skated like that again.

If you're going to get out-hit 3 to 1, you can't get out-shot 2 to 1. That's a loss every time.

I must have been really drunk last night, don't remember this at all. Did the announcers at least say something about this????:

Rangers just got hosed on a call. Letang drove someone right into Fleury and it should have been a goal, not Goalie interference. Oh yeah, B's gotta keep it going tomorrow night in Montreal. Close it out.

Does the game seem really laggy and just awful looking to anyone else?

Just too big of a game to take unnecessary chances early on.

On the bright side I am in a great mood and have a great feeling about tonight. I've gone out of my way to be a nice guy since I woke up 4:30 AM Saturday morning. I think the hope and karma I've built up is due to kick in tonight.

Go Blackhawks!

Pleasantly surprised this is going 7 games. Last 2 have gone the way I thought the series would...Fleury being human and Henrik containing the Penguins offense. Momentum and goaltending are on our side but they have home ice. AKA I have no idea what's going to happen.

Also I obviously wish it didn't happen but the passing of MSL's mother may have been the motivation the Rangers needed to win this series and who knows how many more.

He's going back to what he has been the past few years, a bad-average playoff goalie,

I had this series going 7 games (I must admit I predicted the Pens) but was kind of dumbfounded when the Pens went up 3-1 so easily. I kind of figured both teams would just take turns winning. Now though that the Rangers have big mo on their side, I just don't know what happens. Good series.

Crawford may have some rough games but the man is clutch. He was unbelievable the last half of the 3rd!

Somewhere my man IrishSteelhead's heart has melted after that performance. Don't let his drunk hard ass persona fool you because underneath he has a soft spot for goaltenders.

Crow and the forwards were awesome tonight. I thought Regin, Kruger, and Ben Smith all played really well.

Yeah, agree with those who have said they have no idea what to expect for game 7 of Rangers/Pens. The Rangers have the momentum, but guys like Crosby and Malkin are always just seconds away from a momentum-changing game-breaking play. It could come down to goaltending.

Hawks really looked like their old selves again last night, huh? The Wild still played a great hockey game, especially at the end of the third period, when they seemed close to that tying goal, but the Hawks refused to be outskated. Much better effort. Hossa and Toews really looked like the stars we expect them to be.

Q might have finally found the winning combination of 12 forwards. First time all series the Hawks have had four solid lines contributing. Loved the effort from Regin and Versteeg last night. And I was not really a Regin fan during the regular season. Handzus too was much better than he's been, skating with Kane much of the night.

Rozsival looked bad in Game 4, so I get why Q went with Brookbank in Game 5, but Brookbank looked a bit shaky as well last night. I'm not sure who I would go with in Game 6. Maybe Rozsival coming off a rest.

th

Ducks were down 0-2 before California Chrome gave his endorsement they have not lost since. As some who believes in karma I have my concerns over the good will the Ducks may be getting throughout the rest of the post season.

I've been real... real quiet. Mainly bc my team is out and I'm simply watching from the outside in now. And I'm ok with that, but for fuksake i can't keep my mouth shut any longer. The NHL is seriously pissing me the fuk off. Why the hellll are they risking their integrity by allowing this Boston Bruins team to get away with the dirtiest play in the playoffs in probably 5 years!? Why does this incredibly weak NHL organization really think defending players like Lucic is going to help them out in the long run? It's a fuking joke!!! If anything their blatant favoritism towards him and the other "chosen ones" just exposes the league for how pathetic they are becoming. It's ruining the game.

Let's Go Irish!!!!

Let's go Rangers!!!!

Let's fuckig go Habs!!!!

Big game tonight. Hawks gotta come out of the gates hot, they seemed very sluggish games 3 and 4 but looked like they found the right line combinations in game 5. It will be interesting to see what Q does with the third D-pairing. I personally think he should stay with Brookbank but I can see him going back to Roszival's fresh legs.
