The Wings have barely clawed their way out of the hole and are finally back in the top 8 in the East. The last month has been absolutely awful. But they are slowly on the up swing. Just got 7 out of 8 pts in their last 4 games. 1 more game at Tampa before the olymipc break. LETS GO WINGS!!!

The Swiss sure have a flare for the dramatic. 1-0 win, scored with 8 seconds left in the game.

Watched the other game. Sweden is a strong team. Czechs showed some heart, but too little too late.

It will be sad to see Miller go. I just can't see him staying in Buffalo and if he is not going to resign with them, they need to get whatever they can. Its been a really tough season to watch.

I would love to see them move Stewart plus draft picks/prospects/whatever for Callahan

They were saying on TSN yesterday that there is almost 100% chance that he will get traded. By the way they were talking, there should be a lot of trades. Take it with a grain of salt. They might be selling bs to the audience for the tradecentre(trade deadline special --> Signing day equivalent) show on wednesday. Sometimes they do that, and nothing happens.

There were rumours of a three way deal with Minnesota, St-Louis, and Buffalo. Wonder what it's all about, but goalies seem to be the main focus here.

I don't know what the Blue's contracts are, but Buffalo needs to build for the future. It is not like they need pieces for this season or even next season. They need some picks and a good long term goalie if they want to rebuild. Like somebody said earlier it is hard to find a consistent goaltender.

We shall see what happens.

I don't think it's true. The only source this is coming from is the NY Daily News, which is more or less a glorified tabloid.

I don't want it to be true. I'm going to the game tonight, and I have a feeling Marty's going to do some sort of goodbye at the end (due to the uncertainty), at which point I'll be crying like a baby.

He has been the confirmed starter for tonights game so unless that changes, it probably isn't true. Besides the Wild have Kuemper whose been doing pretty well himself.
