You're the one using a single PI call in the first half of the game as evidence that the NFL told the officiating crew to cheat the Jags out of the game.

I just wish it wasn't so obvious that the NFL didn't want a small market team in the Super Bowl.

I personally didn't think it was PI but it wasn't so blatant to make me believe the NFL is fixing games. Obviously, you feel differently.

You can't read so I'm done responding. I clearly said --
Incompetent officiating could be corruption or a simple lack of aptitude... from stories I've heard in CFB I basically assume the worst whenever something looks fishy, but that probably doesn't apply to the NFL.

So, bye Felicia.

Missed him by more than 5 yards. Thanks.

(EDIT: Sorry, I said "out of bounds" I meant "was nowhere close to catchable")

Like holy fuck if you actually think that was PI you are a blind clown. There is no one who isn't a Pats fan or an idiot that thinks that call was remotely close to correct. Literally everyone is in agreement about it being egregiously terrible.

Stay classy mod

Illegal contact would be a defensible call. Watching the game I would've been like "yeah ok sure"... and then onto the next play.

But like that's also a 5 yard penalty, not a 30 yard penalty... big difference.
The ball was in the air. If you concede that it's illegal contact but it's factually true that the ball was in the air, that's the very definition of pass interference. Again, watch the full clip. Brady slung it early and it was a rainbow. The play was designed to draw PI and it worked.

People get in this mindset that PI can only happen right when the ball is about to be caught. As soon as it's in the air, illegal contact becomes PI.

By rule you cannot call pass interference on a ball that isn't catchable. What is hard?

It's debatably illegal contact. It would be a defensible call by the ref. Throwing a 30 yard flag for that minimal contact on a ball that was nowhere close to catchable is insane and there's a reason everyone thinks it's a terrible call.

Dude that's not how the rule works. You don't get to cry "uncatchable" if the REASON it's uncatchable is because the defender mauled the receiver and drove him out of bounds while the ball was in the air. It WOULD have been catchable if not for the penalty.

That wasn't the reason it was uncatachable. The reason it was uncatachable was because it was massively overthrown. A little (borderline incidental) contact does not = 6 yards. Again, there are multiple articles in multiple places about how bad that single call was. If you Pats fans want to keep truthering about how all the officiating was great while everyone else on internet thinks the Pats got home cooking there is nothing I cant say to convince you. The vast majority of the people all over the country disagree.

The NFL administration and national sports media (ESPN) are blatantly anti-Patriots. Defensive pass interference against Rob Gronkowski is the worst officiated penalty since Lakers Shaquille O'Neal every single week. If some borderline calls went our way tonight, and I don't think they did, I won't lose any sleep.

As someone who's perpetually on thin ice for shitposting and torlling... and who we just gave a pass a mere four days ago for spreading more lies... this is has me rolling.

I'm so sorry you're fake offended by words like "blind" and "clown".

Thin ice? For posting the same thing numerous others posted?

Who's we?

I posted what I know to be true. Looks like everyone got a warning?

Sorry you are unable to admit to not always being right, and have to double down.... It literally, has me rolling.

I'm just a poor idiotic blind clown of a poster but shouldn't we expect more from a mod?

AFTR.... Blind is very offensive to me. I have blind family members, I have blind friends and also employ blind people.

Thanks for the neg Bro...I wouldn't expect anything less from you.

Can't read? Here was your entire post. Sorry if you backtracked twenty posts later.

Can anyone tell me one call the Jags got all game? No?

There was obvious holding on the game icing run. I don't expect that to be called, but the Jags were on the wrong end of literally every borderline call in the game besides the fumble (which to me was clearly a loss of control)... some of them, like the phantom PI before halftime, led directly to points.

It is what it is you're not going to get calls against NE, especially at home. I just wish it wasn't so obvious that the NFL didn't want a small market team in the Super Bowl.

You posted a bunch of lies implying that the drug testing program was to blame for the dismissals. McIntosh was in trouble for tampering with a test, but that's also not why he was kicked.

But you made a bunch of misleading posts anyways... against our rules about rumor mongering about that kind of stuff...

TLDR -- I'm guessing you're still being fake offended and playing the fake victim.

Thanks for the neg Bro...I wouldn't expect anything less from you.

LOL I negged you wishing you a good night after you negged me talking a bunch of shit.

But however you want to spin it...

......the post I just quoted was the most recent one, and was made specifically to walk back that sentiment from the previous one. Because the original one was bad hyperbole, and I was admitting that it was improbable that the NFL would rig a game.

Sorry I inferred that you were an idiot, ass clown and accused you of not being able to read, even though you quoted my post verbatim. Sometimes i just get upset when that beautiful man Tom Brady comes through again in the 4th quarter. I love him but am ashamed to admit it. Feels good to get that off my chest

No worries Lax. Appreciate the apology.

Har har.

But honestly I'm going back now through and re-reading the string of posts and I conflated a lot of what you were saying with what I was reading elsewhere. And yeah, you're basically right about everything. So my bad. And sorry for being dick.

(But I mean I did try to clearly say that no, I did not actually think the NFL rigged it intentionally... I just think they got a couple very questionable calls and the Jags got zilch)

It's not that that wasn't PI, it's that the calls have been one sided all game. That is frustrating. They're letting nothing slide against Jax but NE has a lot of freedom.

It's that way all the time when playing NE. 1 frickin penalty called against them thru the whole game!?! Geesh it's pathetic with sh!t they get by with game after game, year after year!

And Brady fumbled on January 19, 2002 too! Tuck rule my ass! That's one super bowl that the frickin Pats (and cry brady) shouldn't have been GIVEN to them!

Not even close to PI. Cooks is a weak little boy and it showed on that play. It was great defense by a better player. But hey, the Pats were down and really could use the call so they got it.

Literally everyone was taking about that play on twitter last night and it continues today. Cooks it out muscled on the play and runs himself out of bounds just as much as he is forced out. It’s a horrible call.

Yeah, local DC sports radio spent an entire segment on it this morning. Hosts were pretty split. I’m on a flight now and watching TV on my phone they’re actually discussing more Myles Jack not being allowed to run that fumble recovery back and that they don’t think he was touched down. Nobody seems to care about the holding at the end of the game, which is fine... holding is missed all the time.

Either way, Brady about to get a 6th ring in 2 weeks and no one will remember this when all is said and done.

"Out muscled" isn't a legal way to play pass defense when the ball is in the air. Seriously, have you never watched football in your life?

Everyone hates the Patriots, so Twitter consensus isn't exactly a good barometer.
