IB just went off on class rankings & the reality of them, which I found funny because they ALMOST gave BK credit.
They round-about did, but never said his name.
Someone asked about Weis’ 3 straight top 5 classes.
IB went through them & showed how flawed the rankings are because they give so much credit for 5 Stars, regardless how garbage the rest of the class is.
They went through all 3 classes, player by player, & the classes were rough.
Like Driskell, said, they couldn’t even put an 11 on the field, either side of the ball, in each class. And the ones they had never played.
They talked about classes since then (so BK era), and how balanced they all were, and how having starting 11 on both sides wins games, & having 4-5 5 Stars & holes everywhere else is how you go .500
I’ve always said that.
You need balanced classes.
The talk now is how a 5 Star QB changes everything. How about the top 5 Star QB, two classes in a row? That didn’t win, even with multiple 5 Star receivers, because everyone wise stunk.
