Loved Musburger is his younger years, but felt the last 10-15 he was always pushing to be anointed as the best ever. His comments about McCarrons girlfriend and mom were priceless. He took too much heat for that. He only said what every guy watching the game was thinking.

You are looking LIVE!

Not exactly an ND Talking Head but he's been college football's Big Game Bob since Keith Jackson retired. I strangely have vivid memories of his call of #1 Iowa beating #2 Michigan in '85. I know exactly where I was and who was there... like it was yesterday. And yes Chuck Long > Jim Harbaugh. I was always a Ronnie Harmon fan too. Love RB's that catch it out of the backfield.

Musburger was the sportscaster for CBS's Channel 2, WBBM in Chicago when I was a kid. Grown up and old with Mr. Musburger who is 77 btw.

Gettin' old. Happy trails. Thanks for the memories.

To this day my dad is convinced Ronnie Harmon took money to throw the Rose Bowl (fumbled four times IN THE FIRST HALF).

Sounds like Musburger. Back in the early 80's we had a old school 12' satellite dish. You got the direct feed with no commercials. When the networks would cut away for commercials, got the live feed as the announcers were reading or talking to producers, etc... March Madness '84, my HS basketball team is at my house and Musburger's calling the game. During a break, some black chick catches his eye and he says to somebody off camera something like... DAMN! Hey Brown Sugar... look at this stone, cold fox! Daddy needs to get those digits! We fell out. There was a lot of great sh!t that went on live during commercials in those days. A real look behind the curtain.

#1, you're old like me... Is it just me or has Musberger turned into Fred Gwynne's little brother?

remember watching a stream online of a ND-BC game and Sean McDonough and Matt Miller were in the booth and Miller was getting abuse from sections of the crowd during a break (because of his failed tenure as Detroit Lions GM) and it was hilarious listening to the two of them attempt rebuttals lol

The Jake Brown Exit Interview?

Is that the guy who is always getting his oil changed, having a wart burnt off, buying depends for an elderly neighbor, playing pick up basketball or regrouting his shower everytime a recruit commits?

If so, no.

yeah that's him, he would go on vacations when ND was hosting recruits who were hotly tipped to commit and crap like that, despite being paid to cover ND recruiting

For the Scout guys.

Not sure. I don't listen to or read paid sites.
