Absolutely embarrassing. Down 45-6 in 2nd half.
What. The. Fuck.View attachment 3050376
Why not? Isn't that why you hire from within, to keep things rolling? Do you expect us to get worse in Football with the coaching change?Expecting Ivey to have the women playing like Muffet did is not a reasonable expectation
Yes I fully expect us to get worse in football in the next year or two. And others have said so as well. I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect Freeman on his first year on the job to be able to coach like Kelly who has 30 years on the job.Why not? Isn't that why you hire from within, to keep things rolling? Do you expect us to get worse in Football with the coaching change?
Ivey's teams have had some real meltdowns in her two years at the helm. She may grow into the job but there's red flags waving.
Can't do that-not enough players. We only have seven "healthy" scholarship players.Ivey has got to get serious and hand
out some no-nonsense benchings (and probably running laps in practice for too-cool cruising.
You are consistent then. Which is impressive as accountability on message boards is damn near non-existent.Yes I fully expect us to get worse in football in the next year or two
Agreed. I told my wife I’ve never seen a collegiate game against top 25 teams where a team was that dominant. It was an all time terrible performance.Hope you're correct. Still the worst performance I've seen.
"scary good"? We're a long way from that. Maybe you missed the Louisville game where we were down 41-6.Miami outplayed us from the start of the game. they made several key 3 pt buckets and also played really good defense. this team needs to improve in certain areas but they can be scary good if those improvements are made and if Dodson gets the okay to return
Right, but that’s why I said NC St got royally screwed. Their the 1 seed and will likely play UCONN the 2 seed as a de facto home game in the Elite 8.The second round game would be at Oklahoma I believe.
Bridgeport only comes into play if we win the first two.
Yeah that bs happens every year. UConn always close to home or at home.Right, but that’s why I said NC St got royally screwed. Their the 1 seed and will likely play UCONN the 2 seed as a de facto home game in the Elite 8.
We’ll be lucky to get past UMass. I think we need to be on upset alert for that one.I don’t care for UCONN. I’d love to smack Geno’s punk ass mug.
This is concerning, not your comment, but the truth contained therein.I suppose that my reaction to the first half of this game is based on poor memory, but I don't think so.
Given the quality of our personnel, that was the single worse performance I believe I've ever seen for
a Notre Dame athletic team.
Everyone has bad days, but everyone is not supposed to look low energy, low aggression, low preparedness.
That was impossible to watch --- really bad. And as to one comparison to Muffet, Muffet never had a team look
that unprepared and unengaged with anywhere near this much talent. The infamous last season for Muffet was
only because the whole team had graduated and Muffet, the ultimate loyal head coach, stayed on so as not to
stick Ivey with a bare cupboard.
I NEVER advocate thinking about letting someone go. But there's something wrong here in terms of attitude
and intense engagement --- that's a coach-thing. Dodson and Citron played hard. In the end, even they got
discouraged and over-hurried things (even Citron's foul shooting routine.) Ivey has got to get serious and hand
out some no-nonsense benchings (and probably running laps in practice for too-cool cruising.) Something has
to explain a team with only a couple of players who are willing to refuse to lose by getting fire in the belly.
That was just terrible to the point of turning off the TV in the 4th quarter when even Louisville intensity turndown
didn't make much difference. One on court commentator said they looked "afraid" early in the game --- how the
he!l is THAT possible? National commentators were actually laughing about the game. Post-game comment was
"Notre Dame never had a chance."
