No disrespect, but it'll be 1/4 empty by the start of the third quarter.

funny it was packed until 3 mins left in 4th for AF...really i get tired of hearing this over and over.. i've been there three times and not once was it like what you guys wine about...

IF THE OLD FOLKS CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE WAVE I THINK THEY WILL CHEER AND WEAR A SHIRT!!..

try to be positive and not non-stop hating.. go to a game and prove it...

Jack Swarbrick not high on ND Stadium's home field edge "I travel around with our team, and our stadium is the quietest place we play."

Swarbrick went into the dining halls and essentially challenged the students to be as loud as they can for USC, saying that our stadium is the most quiet he's been to. That says everything to me. The student section is always loud and is always behind the team. If Jack wants the stadium to be loud, he should be talking to the old alums.

I'll be at the USC game. I am 51. I will wear whatever someone gives me to wear. I will wave whatever someone gives me to wave.
I am getting pumped.

IDK off the top of my head. I would have to look at the tickets. I will get back at you later

I also have a Joyce parking pass. That should be pretty cool. I have only parked in the white lot before.

Swarbrick calling out the Irish

Swarbrick calling out the Irish

IrishIllustrated.com
Swarbrick acknowledged a hotly contested sentiment among Irish fans, commented on the energetic atmosphere, or lack thereof, of Notre Dame Stadium and encouraged the Irish student body to take matters into its own hands.
"I need your passion," he said. "I travel around with our team, and our stadium is the quietest place we play. I want you guys on that Saturday night at least once to make USC have a false start penalty."

i agree fully i was standing the whole time yelling with the othe guys in oursection we all need to raise the bar...

He would get flak for chastising the alums. Instead he can challenge the students (who don't really need challenging) and get some stories written to get the word out.

Your perception of the stadium atmosphere all depends on where you are sitting or who you are setting next to. Last weekend at the Air Force game I was in section 35 row 15, seats 9 &10, I was literally right next to the student section. I though this is perfect It will be crazy all game, get to stand cheer and all that jazz. Two minutes before kick off the old man in the row in front of me goes "Down in front, I can't see through you kids." I was with my buddy Ben who is an OSU fan, he starts busting out laughing. He said that all the talk about the games being lame, and now he said it was confirmed. Last year I was at the scUM game in the south west corner, which was a little livelier and stood about half the game. I have been to 6 games or so and I have seen both sides, I have tickets to the U$C game in section 136 so let’s hope the atmosphere is more like the scUM game than the Air force game.

My overall perception of the stadium is that 'on average' its a quite stadium. Lacks the intensity of a normal home game. Tradition and physical appearance are all there. Intensity, something the alumni lack.

If anyone wants to sit and watch the game, they can do so from the comfort of their own homes.
