Cousin said he is one of the best shooters he has seen at 6ft 7 at that age. Said he was really interested in Duke as has already been noted

This is a question to anyone that pays attention to basketball recruiting.

What are Notre Dame's chances with Jalen Coleman out of LaPorte, Indiana? I would hope the chances are pretty high considering LaPorte is about 25 minutes away. But then he has offers from IU, Michigan, NC State, and Illinois so he has some good schools to choose from.

Its gonna be hard to sway him away from better basketball schools but hoping with how close he is will help us out. Tough for ND basketball to get elite players it seems like.

Agreed. I think ND being in the ACC now will only help their recruiting efforts down the road though. Once we become adjusted to ACC play and start winning some big time games recruits will start to notice.

A lot of our better players have come from the the East coast especially the Maryland area.

I enjoy not paying attention to Notre Dame basketball recruiting because all news is good news, for the most part.

Football recruiting on the other hand can be a day/week 'ruinner'
