I highly suggest anyone take this man up on the offer. He's good tailgating people. We've done four games now over the last several years. If anyone is coming to Omaha, I can put together a list of places to eat/drink/see for you. Just shoot me a PM and I can send it over to ya.
Definitely hoping to grab a beer or six with a few of you fine folks
Dude apparently is a coffee and jamo guy. I support thatI highly suggest anyone take this man up on the offer. He's good tailgating people. We've done four games now over the last several years.
Makes me wonder exactly what you loons mean by ‘tailgating people’I highly suggest anyone take this man up on the offer. He's good tailgating people. We've done four games now over the last several years.
People who know how to have a nice conversation, keep beer cold, and pitch a tailgate tent.Makes me wonder exactly what you loons mean by ‘tailgating people’
Only if you promise to take us to Parliament Pub downtown. If anyone is coming to Omaha, I can put together a list of places to eat/drink/see for you. Just shoot me a PM and I can send it over to ya.

Nebraska-Omaha was in our conference during college ball so we always enjoyed our annual away series in town. Sometimes we enjoyed it too much and am well acquainted with Parliament.I wouldn’t wish that upon my worst enemies, let alone any of the nice people of IE
Sadly, with FSU’s opening I don’t know how much they’ll be able to do. But, hopeful that they do make the necessary upgrades anyways for the possible new coach. And who knows maybe Jarrett doesn’t leave.am i right in saying that Jack has no choice now but to do whatever he can to get alumni to get out the checks to give coach Link massive facilities upgrades or else
When we we know which games they will be scheduled?
He is a FSU alum and their program is good to elite a lot of the time. Our facilities are not up to par and need to be upgraded to compete in the world of baseball. Recruiting is easier in the south also. Why is everyone so sure Jarrett will leave? He is having great success here. Made CWS this year and should have last year, with a little luck. Could actually have won it all last year.
ND has talent despite the facilities. Why would he leave one of the most successful programs in the country the last 2 years? He’s proven he can win here. ND’s not a mid major after all.
Maybe somebody knows something I don’t.
My thoughts anyway.
Agree, the major pull here has got to be alumni factor. But, the one thing that does give me the slimmest glimmer of hope is that FSU financials are just a disaster. Martin was being paid $425K per year, which is actually quite low. I am not sure how much FSU can actually throw at him. Given the state of ND coaches at the moment (BK and MM out, MF and NI in), I am guessing ND should have the $$ available to at least make Link think hard about this. ND could and should pay him close to or above $1M. He has proven he is worth it. Alumni discounts will always exist, but the question is how much of a discount would he be willing to give? I hope ND forces him to answer that.He is a FSU alum and their program is good to elite a lot of the time. Plus you don't have as many early season postponements due to weather. He is a FSU alum and their program is good to elite a lot of the time. Our facilities are not up to par and need to be upgraded to compete in the world of baseball. Recruiting is easier in the south also.
I show bracket 1 plays Friday and SundayND is in bracket 1, they’ll play Saturday. I’d guess the afternoon game
Can someone explain how the brackets work? Is it like going back to the regional pod they had at the start of the playoffs?
Kind of glad we got Texas instead of ECU.There are 2 4 team brackets that play a double elimination round. The winners of those advance to the Championship Series, which is best of 3.
ND is in bracket 1 and will open with #9 Texas on Friday.
It was actually masterful ! the score doesnt reflect it, but those insurance runs were HUGE for confidence to close the damn thing out !Watched the highlights. Seems like the 8th inning was beautifully managed by coach to generate those insurance runs. Looking forward to seeing what these guys can do in Omaha!!
Why do you say that? Wasnt Texas ranked #1 at one point as well? Obv we can beat anyone at this point , just curious why youd prefer texas of ECU?Kind of glad we got Texas instead of ECU.
I’ve watched them play a lot this year along with Coastal Carolina, Clemson and South Carolina and I think they are a more complete and better team. They were regional hosts and they were a higher seed. Texas was 0-18 when losing after 7 innings and I don’t think they are nearly as complete a team. Why do you say that? At this point, you play who you play and chances are they're going to be good if they're still around. To your point, watching ECU was a blast. They had a crazy run that started at the end of April.I’ve watched them play a lot this year along with Coastal Carolina, Clemson and South Carolina and I think they are a more complete and better team. I mean I have zero doubts we can play with anyone but I think ECU would give us more problems than Texas. Just my opinion
