We should make towels for this yr. Blue I would like since the shirt is blue. What do you guys feel about it..

I think towels are a tremendous idea, even though I hate those stupid towels in Pittsburgh...

If they insist on making the shirt a different color every year (which is stupid as well), they should make a towel every year to contrast the shirt. For example, since the shirt is blue this year, make green towels for everyone to wave. At least get some stadium unity going.

They gave out towels last yr at the USC game. Turned out not as good because Navy towels at night dont show up as well

Need a bright color so green (the type of green all the Navy game stuff is) is the best choice IMO if we even have towels

Love the towels. Looked awesome at the Michigan game. Do it to it. Towels don't make people quieter. If you can't wave a towel and cheer at the same time, stay home.

lol yea because ND's crowd doesn't look old quiet and stupid to all the young recruits tuning into the games on TV... Quick greater than less than problem...Michigan Stadium vs ND ( ) ND Stadium vs. MSU < > or = ?? Most of us realize ND needs some kind of life in the stadium and the product on the field isn't breeding it at the moment, so we need to inject somethingggggg.

I'm not saying 'gimmicks' win or lose games...but it creates atmosphere...and great atmosphere gives home field advantage which could result in some big swings during games that help us win!

You obviously were not at the USC game. Loudest I have ever heard ND stadium and people loved the towels. Atmosphere was unreal. Even when they were down the crowd was in it (which was most of the game)

I love that we're playing night games and added a sound system. Can't wait for 5 years from now when ND has a jumbotron, field turf, bigger stadium, oh, and a 12th National Championship.

Let's make some noise.

**** Michigan.

I'd bet on the fact that we'll have towels for the Michigan game this year. And I bet they learned from last year. I'd expect white or kelly green for the towels.

I know from watching the game on T.V. that crowd was going nuts... Add winning to that and the crowd would have ran on field etc...

I think blue to match the crowd make the stadium look more like a solid blue since the shirt color, and alot of ND merch is blue..

Would love to see Pom Poms like alabama, michigan both use.. make them green blue gold.. Just stick to one color!!!!lol

I would say to all the guys on this board if you go to a game be that guy that inspires others the cheer if they follow great if not enjoy yourself... Plus buy some flags, Pom Poms, towels wave them cheer hae fun, and support ND the best you can...

I love the pom poms. They have to be a brighter green than the crap they gave the student section at the BC game last year though. Hardly noticeable. It needs to be a green closer to the green on the jerseys worn at Michigan last year.

I was at the game, and it would have been louder without the towels. People get too preoccupied with waving them and can't clap. Fact is, people are so stupid that any distraction can hurt loudness. It's not like towels are going to make the old quiet people any louder. Towels were not why the USC game was so loud. It was because everyone was drunk at a night game.
