Huge, huge opportunity for the women. I just hope they continue to take care of business.

Absolutely. Got a tough game against Duke on Tuesday.

Still plenty of tough teams with Duke, Tenn, Louisville, and UConn still in it. A huge roadblock is gone but this team has to keep it's focus. Good thing they're playing for one of the best coaches in the business.

This Baylor loss just makes it more of a colossal joke that we got stuck on the same side of the bracket as UCONN and have to play in freaking Norfolk... which is a hell of a lot closer to Duke than Notre Dame.

The semifinal game between UCONN and Notre Dame - assuming we both get there - will be a clash of the titans... while the other side of the bracket is full of third tier teams or worse at this point.

Let's worry about Duke first. But yes, I'm angry that we have to play Uconn again before the finals.

Beating Duke, UConn, + whoever we would have to play in the finals is still an easier task than what beating Baylor would have been.

Don't sleep on Kentucky. If Louisville can beat Baylor, Kentucky sure as hell can beat UCONN.

I actually like how the path is set up. Coach Muffet will be able to get this very energetic team higher than a kite [i.e. no emotional relaxation] for the next game [Duke], and then comes Connecticut. There is no possibility of a relaxation against our most disliked rival [who still refuses to believe we are better] and so our energy should remain sky high.

After Connecticut it's the NC game against whomever. THAT won't be a letdown either as the girls are REALLY tired of not getting one yet. Had Connecticut not come until the title, the "in=between" game could have been an emotional trap. Not now.

The Ladies will win if they just keep playing as they have, and don't have an oddball bad shooting day.

Yeah, on a lot of levels I doubt we get past Duke. They're primed for an upset because of their ability to shoot the 3 (they make something absurd like 40% of their 3s) and the fact that Norfolk is a short 3 hour drive from Duke's campus.... whereas our team is 12+ hours our campus.

Whoever comes out of the left half of the bracket will be an easier game than either of our next two games. Hopefully we can get it done.

Doubt is a strong word. Yeah Norfolk is kinda close to Duke but we beat UCONN on their home floor twice and UCONN is better than Duke. Also, our girls have faced the best 3 point shooter in the country 3 times (Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis) and they did a pretty good job against her. Can Duke win? Yeah absolutely. But there is no reason to doubt this Notre Dame team especially with Muffit McGraw coaching and they have the best back court in the country.

CAL Backs Into Final Four in OT Over UGA

CAL Backs Into Final Four in OT Over UGA

Battle of two poorly shooting teams. CAL stared out horrendously in regulation hitting 1of 18 shots to open the game. UGA returned the ineptness in the end of regulation.

UGA had an 8 pt lead with 7:45 left and did't make a shot for 7:30 minutes finally making a layup with 13 seconds left forcing OT.

During this 18-9 spurt, Duke's been winning the boards.

They lead 15,5 to 9,4.
