A few defensive box score watching notes that I missed during the game
-Tae Johnson led with 7 total tackles
-Jaiden Ausberry had 4 tackles
-Elijah Hughes credited with a sack
-Leonard Moore had 3 solo tackles. I think he was targeted one time the entire game and it resulted in a 4 yard gain

Nobody adjusted better in the 2nd half than the officials.
They came out of the locker room finally understanding what is and isn't a catch. I guess we'll see if that lesson sticks.

1. I am still shaking my head over that no overturn call.
2. CJ had some lovely passes one dropped by KK Smith I think was before the great Raridon pass. It would have been a hard catch but a great throw.
3. Raridon, Carr, KK Smith, Faison, Traore all great. Also Bowen is brutal.
4. Full credit to the DC.
5. Hope Craig is okay he is important and the line needs to keep improving.

Great second half, next week will be the true test of ash figuring out the defense. We covered and it should have been by alot more than that. Great win

I like Denbrock a lot but I don't understand the constant need to get cute on 3rd/4th and short. Do we have that little confidence in the short-yardage running game? Seems like we should just give it to Love/Price and tell him to follow Guerby.

I know, but I truly think he is tinkering around in games like this. He knows we're going to dominate in the end, but he's trying to see what his guys can handle.
Like I said, is it a risk? Yeah, kinda... but the benefits are high.

Raridon and the 3 WR's (Faison, KK Smith and Pauling) balled out. Can't shout out a TE and 3 WR's without saying that Carr had another great game (that actually should have been better). I don't think I';m over-reacting to say that we have a superstar QB! Hated some of the play calls in the first half, but I have ZERO complaints about that second half. Defense was excellent again and made another decent offensive team look terrible. This Irish team plays so different when they have a healthy Leonard Moore out there. We're blessed to have him for another year! Gray got robbed of an INT. KVA is coming into his own. He was all over the field today. I said it in the gamed chat, butt I think this was Traore's best game all year. He was disruptive all game. Didn't see Faraimo in much...but the Ione play I saw him in, he made an impact (forcing a turnover and getting a holding call against him on the same play). I think I want to see more of him going forward. He's impressed me every time I've seen him so far.
I live in LA and just texted some friends (huge SC fans) about how weird it feels rooting for USC. I really hope they beat the shit out of Meat-Chicken today and then come in to South Bend ranked and full of confidence. This is Super Bowl week for me!
