If I was him, and even if I could hobble but not play, I would a called for help as it stopped the game. It allowed his team to take a break. It gave his team a free time out.

Wouldn't be in my all time 5 regardless of how big of prima Donna pussy he is.

With that being said, I also don't take players that need a tampon.

He probably wouldn't be in mine yet either to be honest. But if he beats this Spurs team, again basically by himself, he probably takes Bird's spot.

Oh, and I will say this too. I've seen this before. Last year in fact, from the people on here. If he hobbles over you still say he's a pussy and you probably use his walking over as evidence that he was just checking himself out of the game.

I don't remember him missing any significant time at all last season during the playoffs. What series are you referring to, when he hobbled over to the bench on his own?

By himself? Please tell me you're joking.

I really dislike Miami but I love what they've done with their roster outside the Big 3. It's filled with guys who can score 20 points on any give night (Chalmers, Lewis, Cole, Allen, Birdman, Battier, Mike Miller before this year). For the most part, they seem to win every game when one of those guys goes gets hot. Their bench play in the series against the Pacers was just unfair.

Obviously hyperbole, but he's the only person on that team I'd classify as a star. Wade's body is a wreck, and if it wasn't for Janes he would have 1 title and a ton more miles. Bosh is a power forward who doesn't bang, he's practically a three point specialist now.

Like I said, I believe (I'm on my phone right now and can't check where I read this) that James was leading his team at the time he came out in 7 statistical categories. On the Spurs, seven different players led their team in those categories. That's insane. (Which is why the Spurs are going to win it IMO. They're just too damn good. But I'd be thrilled for Duncan.)

I've been rooting hard for the Spurs all playoffs but I think the critcism of Lebron is unwarranted in this case.

Secondly I don't Lebron cramping would have changed the outcome just made it closer. I know they had the lead but the Spurs made every almost all their 3s down the strech. The Spurs had turnover issues most of the game and credit the Heat D some. Spurs pretty much got open shots all game long when they avoided the turnover. They settled down and I don't believe the Heat could have stopped them in game 1 even with Lebron I think Lebron being on court makes the game an 8 point loss instead of 15 just simply because how many open looks the Spurs got.

Sorry I didn't see this. I thought it was last year but it may have been two years ago. It was the first time he had cramps late in a game in the playoffs and everyone on here was blasting him because he lacked heart and was scared.

I'd put it much closer to 50/50. There's a reason the spurs suddenly had all those open looks. I think it would've come down to a shot.

They shot 58 percent from the field, I'd say they had good shots most of the game. Heat gamble too much on D at times. It works great like in the 3rd quarter when the other team isn't precise with their passing but once the self inflicted turnovers stop that gambling leads to break downs.

They shot 58% for the game because when James went out they shot like 14 of 16. There was a large slide in the stats to him on and off the floor.

I'm a Lebron hater, but I can say that when you have a legit cramp, you can't do anything about it. Having said that, there's been way too much focus on feeling bad for the Heat, and not enough credit for the 100 year old Spurs pushing through the temperature and continuing to run the floor to the last minute.

Their condition is elite and it paid off for them. Kudos to the Spurs.

I don't feel bad for either team. They both had plenty of rest.

I know this has nothing to do with your post, but I wanted to 1) be tagged in this thread and 2) tell you that with your new avatar, you should consider changing your username to yellow as well.

I about kicked my dog from looking at your current combination.

Pretty much would've been my response. The Heat are a different team when he's off the court, and shooting nearly 90% for the last part of a game is going to have a serious effect on your FG percentage.

I don't have a dog in the race. I like watching Lebron and the Heat because of his greatness. I like watching the Spurs because of their team greatness. I don't think just the temp played a roll in the cramps. He's had these issues in the past, and Spo played him so much thru the 1st 3 quarters just to keep the Heat in the game. The Spurs bench is a lot stronger than the Heats. If the Spo can't find a way to get his big 3 rest while still remaining in the lead of keeping pace, this will be over in 4 or 5. Hell, early in the game like late 1st or early 2nd quarter both teams were running nonstop for several minutes. It was a track meet. That few minute stretch, and Lebrons inability to play at the end, I think is what ultimately lead to the Heat not being able to keep pace in the end. It wasn't just because he was sitting. I think the Spurs would have shot closer to 50% and the Heat made some more shots, it would have likely been a 3-5 point win for the Spurs. I do expect game 2 to be completely different. Spo will rest his big 3 thru the game. The air will work. Leonard and Chalmers won't have foul trouble and never get in to the flow. Part of Lebrons success early was because the Spurs had a guy or two in foul trouble and didn't have who they wanted guarding him.

This is where I'd normally point and laugh at Lebron for being such a ridiculous pussy, but I'd rather wait until they lose the series.

In all seriousness though this is amazing basketball. Evil Lebron showed up tonight. Duncan is playing like he's 28. Ray Allen thinks its 1999. The Spurs offense is terrifying. Wade is a fucking tool, but the fact that he flopped like that against Ginobili made up for it because Ginobili is one of the worst floppers in the league, so that was just sweet karma.

FWIW I still think the Spurs win. Just much better as an overall team.

It's interesting to watch the Heat. To watch their reactions, they've never fouled anyone ever in the history of the league.

And I'm a Kansas guy. Mario won us a national title. But that elbow today was bad.

Now I'm on the other side with the Mario foul. No doubt he swung it viciously, but I think he was expecting Parker to have his arm there and it wasn't. He had swing his arm just prior to that too and Parker had his arm there as they were nudging back and forth. I don't think he intended to nail him in the ribs.

Lol. Same with the Spurs. They all complain and work the refs.

Lebron is the best in the league and he'll continue to prove that, it ultimately depends on how the rest of the team shows up. The Spurs bench is shooting the lights out right now. It'll be interesting to see if they can keep that up.
