Bye week BEFORE Navy, biggest game of season immediately after today’s blood bank/debt game.

Someone didn’t do the math for this year’s schedule.

After a week off and no great way to prepare to for an efficient quick read offense, I’m not surprised that they came out slow and confused. I’m happy with the adjustments at halftime, whoever made them. It felt like ND could do whatever they wanted in the 2nd half, but due to some minor execution errors they didn’t score above 40.

I’m most concerned about the injuries to Brewu and Bowen. I don’t think people realize how important Bowen is. He is the quarterback of that defense. Really hope Tae is back next week. Strategy might have to be a shootout TAMU type game. Hopefully the depleted D can make 1 stop when they need it.

We can’t play soft or waste drives against Miami. I rely on all yall for perspective when we have struggles & anxiety Rudy takes over the brain. So with that in mind I do ask, was the first half an anomaly or something that we may not be able to fix this week? I really want to know how you guys feel objectively about what we can do to stand a chance with just how good Miami seems to be.
