I posted this in Christian Hamilton's thread but thought it was appropriate here as well. He's talking about A&M's very large and coordinated effort with regards to NIL.
i am not surprised that college teams are using the NIL to flat out buy recruits. all this will do is widen the gap between the haves and the have nots.
The Louisville athletic department has never had a money/booster/support/donors issue... it's always had a leadership issue.Louisville just landed one of their top recruits ever in Top 100 WR DeAndre Moore. 5th California kid, notably QB Pierce Clarkson and a Top 150 CB.
Not that Louisville is a little old underdog given their basketball program but they have been seen as a possible aggressor on the NIL front. Shoulda had Lance Taylor out on the west coast rather than Del apparently. A possible “win” I guess for parity
Yup. Was heavily recruited to play baseball there and the deals they were giving me were pretty crazy compared to other top schools at the time. Lots of boosters are willing to contribute. The Louisville athletic department has never had a money/booster/support/donors issue... it's always had a leadership issue.
As long as the cash is moving, the Cards should do okay in the NIL era.

There is a 2023 5 star committing today at 3 PM per Hayes Fawcett IG.
Carnell Tate maybe?
EDIT: Nevermind it might just be a top 5.
yupPierce Clarkson has to be Steve's son I assume?
the cards have always been L'ville's pro franchise. Wondering if there's any money left over for the basketball program.
