Alabama just landed the first guy Hubbard and have a CB for the second. Hubbard is a HS QB with only one other P5 offer that has never played safety that they project as a LB/S. Adams is a 5’10 white kid with great speed. 2 bookmarks for the next Bama would never take a kid like this type lol

Did Belichick just take over?

That kid either has to have a teammate or relative they really want.

52 of the top 100 have decided thus far. By July 16th, it will at least be 60 of the top 100.

Tennessee, Louisville, Miami, and MSU taking more top recruits than they usually do thanks to NIL. Iowa kept Proctor home. USC is back to taking some elite guys. NIL and some other factors may balance out the rankings a bit this year. ND might not need to get over 300 composite to finish top 5, though they are going to come close regardless.

NIL has unironically been good for dispersing elite talent lol. Bama / OSU / UGA may still have the top classes but they likely wont each have 5+ 5 stars which should hypothetically even the playing field over time.
It'll at least water down the top tier of schools. Maybe the national champs will come from the same 15-20 teams rather than the same 3-4. That's an improvement IMO.

Fat Farrell, trying to create clicks for his new crappy site, just said Arch Manning at best is a 3 Star. LOL

USC's class has really slowed after a hot start. They might not end up in the top 10 with 2 5 stars.

Glorified 7 on 7 team as usual.

Mark Stoops might consider taking one of those job offers before Cincinnati torpedo’s his recruiting strategy of Ohio leftovers.

What happens when ND recruits at a higher level? NDs Triple AAA/transfer portal feeders I mean Northwestern and Cincinnati enjoy fantastic classes.

214.59 for Cincy and not done beats all their previous classes by a considerable margin
Northwestern's previous best since 2014 was 194, and most were sub 180.

The Freeman effect.

Someone at 247 must think ND's getting too much good publicity lately...

Not a mention on their recruiting home page of Greathouse committing, but quite a few old commitments and commitment previews present.

Am I just paranoid??

This account just posts major updates, commitments or CBs. I know Bama is Bama but in less than a week that is 5 major CBs and the commitment from Justice Haynes

ESPN the first to break away from the Mannings, putting Malachi Nelson as the #1 overall recruit. Manning is 2 and Dante 3.

Keeley at 24

ND with 14 in the top 300
Alabama 13
OSU 13
Georgia 13
Texas 10
Clemson 7

I guess there is trouble in Buckeye land…
According to their sites, and verified by OSU mods, Noah Rogers & Dijon Johnson are looking to flip. And Fletcher is talking with Miami.
Not too mention they missed out on all the kids above.

If Noah Rogers flips…that domino could have an impact on our class…

Flores has said ND was his leader over OSU regardless.
The narrative that he was choosing OSU if he had the green light was dispelled by him.
When? Of course you would say that after the fact so it doesn’t look like you settled.

Exactly. I’m not saying OSU pushing for him would qualify as an automatic decommit…but to act like there’d be nothing to worry about is pretty “Pollyanna” take.

I don’t think OSU fans “feel” like they have the #1 class either if being honest. Luke Montgomery is grossly over ranked as is the TE they just picked up Jelani Thurman. It’s the WRs + Jason Moore really to write home about.

Idk if you subscribe to the Athletic, but Ari Wasserman, a famous OSU homer that covers recruiting, recently had a mailbag where he discussed Marcus Freeman energizing ND's recruiting big time, and talked about how they will continue to battle OSU for the top class (until Saban continues to close on prospects).

His next paragraph then did A LOT of heavy lifting for OSU's class about how it should actually be considered higher, but is hurt by one of their top commits being a TE, and how it's harder for TE's to get into the top-100.

Just a strange bit of justification for OSU's class, instead of just saying "they have a top-100 TE committed..."

About two weeks before he went public.
It was when OSU still wanted him to visit but he said he basically felt he wanted ND the most and every day it never changed, so one day he just decided it was over.

Yeh, but OSU is a perfect example that development and coaching is every bit as important - probably more so - than recruiting rankings. The 2020 and 2021 OSU defenses were absolutely stacked with 4 and 5 star players yet they got drilled by everyone,.....which of course resulted in an almost whole new defensive staff going into 2022.

My daughter and son-in-law live just outside of Columbus and they claim that OSU - and their fans - are probably looking forward to the start of 2022 more than any other season in recent memory. Most of them consider last year a total failure........unreal considering they went 11-2 and won the Rose Bowl. Something tells me Booger (Harbaugh) and Michigan will be walking into a hornet's nest when they play in Columbus in November. I don't think that Michigan's win (against OSU) did the OSU 2022 opponents a favor
