Is a recruiting upset about to go down in Knoxville? Going into today, it seemed like Henry To'ot'o was headed to play for Saban. Now crystal balls are coming in for Tennessee.

They've been gaining a lot of traction with him for the last couple of weeks

2019 4* OLB Henry To'oto'o commits to Tennessee then 5* OT Darrnell Wright signs also

Crazy how bad they have been and they are a top 12 recruiting team. I am happy with our class and I think it will certainly continue producing very good players. But how in the world does this happen?

Pruitt making the best of his first real/full class. He's been a DC at FSU, UGA, and Bama. He's had to have learned some good tricks lol... Not to mention having great connections to those three states. Pulled a 5star and four or five 4stars out of GA. And two 5star OTs is pretty crazy by itself.

Love ND's class. The OL and DL pulls are phenomenal. and 7 of those guys are already on campus. So awesome. DBs pretty darn good as well.

Didn't have a 90s rated WR, RB, QB, or LB, so we better nail some of those positions in 20.

I just love ESP. Very little drama. Hats off to the coaches for locking shit down early.

Pruitt (DC experience from Bama, UGA, and FSU) is how it happens. Add in a school with a huge fan base and lots of revenue, one of the biggest/best stadiums and facilities, and the willingness to SPEND.

I liked him a lot in his early years on M*A*S*H, not so much his later years there.

Coach D is the most sensitive, over-reactive dude on Twitter.

Half of his timeline consists of him quote-tweeting people and being butthurt about their responses to his other tweets, and those people usually aren't even being combative or worthy of the scorn he heaps upon them.

Dude just seems pissed at life, all the time. By far the least professional ND writer out there.

He once went after Pete Sampson when Pete tweeted jokingly about something that goes on in the press box. It was harmless but very entertaining

there was a tweet few months back that basically compared something to a BGI podcast where you wait an hour to actually hear you want to hear (Lou) and basically every ND beat guy retweeted or liked it haha.

.9103 4* Parker McQuarrie - NH
Offers (12): Michigan, Rutgers, Boston College, Pitt, Wisconsin, UCLA, Syracuse, Minnesota, UMass, Missouri, Purdue, Miami
247: 90
Rivals: 5.7
ESPN: 82

I think in 4-5 years we’ll be talking about this kid ahead of the NFL draft. It’s a total shot in the dark on my part and it could age poorly but I think a 6’6”+ 230-250lb QB under Chip Kelly who’s pretty damn accurate in high school already can be a really really good match. Downside is he could be Wilton Speight, could be playing awful competition in New Hampshire, could have a tough time adjusting to the PAC-12, but I’ve got faith that a former New Hampshire native like Chip Kelly can tell if this kid can ball or not.

He plays with a good friend of mine son and I have seen him play and was completely underwhelmed. Especially considering the offer list.

Well I think he plays some Jack Kiser-level competition and maybe a little better. Also why I mentioned 4-5 years from now because I think he’s a guaranteed redshirt while putting on 20+ lbs. I think if Chip Kelly is there for the next 5 years that he could be really good after learning that system for that long. It’s my shot in the dark

Longhorns just got commitment from 2020 5 Star RB Bijan Johnson out of Tucson Salpointe Catholic. Number 3 RB, and Number 20 overall prospect.
Herman has really revived the UT recruiting, and seems they are a team on the rise after a long period of underperformance. Recent recruiting classes among the best.

If he can coach these high recruits they will be a top 5 team very soon. And once they start winning again the recruiting will be easier than it already is in Texas.

Jimbo at A&M with it's SEC schedule is going to be a bigger & bigger draw as time goes on.

UT doesn't outright own Texas anymore with A&M's new dynamics.

In regards to Texas, I'll be watching them closely as they got my favorite player in the '19 class = Jake Smith from here in Scottsdale and my favorite RB in the '20 class from downstate, Bijan Robinson. They also snaked Chandler's Brayden Liebrock who I thought was the #2 TE for ND last year. . . well more of a Tyler Eifert slot WR type that people like to call a TE.

Fisher at TAMU has energized Aggie recruiting, and it will probably only get better. Same with Herman at UT. Since A&M joined the SEC, the state is being gleaned by Bama, LSU, and UGA like never before. Other big hitters here are pOSU, USC, OK, and UM. Will get harder for ND.

Heard the same thing about Oklahoma St a number of years ago and yet they are still the little brother like TA&M is. If UT builds on last year and starts hitting on all cylinders they will get who they want from in-state.

Heard Mark Packer list the number of 4/5 star players on the current roster of each current Top 10 team today on his “Off Campus” show. I didn’t catch what his source was but assume he went with 247 Composite:

Clemson - 40
Alabama - 68
Georgia - 60
LSU - 51
Ohio St - 59
Oklahoma - 49
Auburn - 46
Wisconsin - 9
Florida - 39
Notre Dame - 47

It’s still really early but one of those is definitely not like the others.
