Didn't realize until yesterday that Marshall had gone to Georgia before JUCO. He left Georgia because he was kicked off the team. The reason? It was not explicitly stated, but is widely believed to be for stealing (money) from a teammate.
The Gus Bus loves it some thieving QB's.
Malzahn said Marshall will be dealt with for the weed. I wouldn't expect him to miss any game time though-- Gus already talked up his punishment of having to miss sec media days. Yeah, Gus, whatever-- making your QB who was literally just arrested NOT have to answer questions from reporters is a huge punishment.
Once the character requirements were done away with by voting Scam Newton and Johnny Shithead the Heisman Trophy and other awards, I see no media types caring much about any of Marshall's past transgressions. In other words, nobody will really care, nor hold him accountable, as long as Marshall puts up another 3,000 yards of offense and Auburn does well.
