I think Charlie Kirk is antithetical to almost my entire belief system but I absolutely did not want him martyred.

It's no one of significance, this is essentially manufacturing of consent so that the response will be 10x worse. The propaganda accounts will convince people that the Left is celebrating, but in reality it's no one of any sort of influence. The trans narrative failed so this is the next move.

From what I've seen, it looks like the guy was VERY online. I don't think that world is easily understood, particularly by older people. There are corners of the internet that do not fit neatly into republican/democrat labels and frankly are very strange and confusing even for younger old people (like me).

I thought you meant the shooting which is why I asked. I suppose there are some that may not be able to distinguish, but I think that may fit most any range.

It's a typically 7th grade level attempt by Toronto to insult. It's why I often tell him that I believe he grew up in a female dominated house with no strong male role models. He genuinely has no clue how to insult a man. He's clueless about how actual men think or why they view him the way they do. What he thinks is a crushing insult makes adults just roll their eyes. I've even offered, quite sincerely, to coach him up on how to insult and engage in a battle of wits, but he's too insecure to accept the help. It just is what it is.

I don’t think it is fair at all to say that the capital L Left with large has been anything but mournful and disgusted with the assassination, but I do think it is true that there is more popular support for Kirk’s assassination among the left than there has been for any targeted assassinations against left leaning politicians. I mean there were tweets with hundreds of thousands of likes cheering it on. I don’t think that is left leaning politics writ large, but I think it has more large support in the populous than you give it credit for. That’s not to discredit the abhorrent behavior of Mike Lee after the Minnesota assassinations or the behavior of people like Don Jr. after Nancy Pelosi’s husbands assault. I think it is genuinely a ghoulish behavior from both sides at the moment.

You would have to be a real psycho to celebrate just on the principal of them being democrats. I think if someone like Destiny or Hassan got murdered the right would have a very similar reaction to what we've seen from a segment of the left regarding Kirk.

I think Destiny is a fairly good comp. Both like to debate. Both keep it fairly civil on the surface at least. Both have said things the other side finds offensive. I don't know of any time Density called for violence.

Hassan is definitely worse. More like a left Fuentes. Probably even further. He's fucking platforming and cheering on Houthi terrorists. I'd be much happier to see him gone than I am Charlie (unrelated to being killed).
