Not trying to be pedantic, but since 1970, Bear Bryant, Barry Switzer, Tom Osborne, Urban Meyer, Dabo Swinney, Nick Saban and Kirby Smart are all coaches who won 2 titles in a 5 year period.

We keep recruiting at this level and I think our guy has a real good chance of joining that list.....

Slow down killer. We were never in the OSU game after the first drive and who knows what would’ve happened in the playoffs. To assume we would rip off 4 wins is a bit much.

We are closer than it would seem, though. Marcus has been or record as thinking we played poorly and let that OSU game slip away. We just didnt play our best ball early. By the time we locked in, it was too big a gap to close. Although we almost did.

I do think if we made the playoffs last year we would have run the table. Nobody was playing as well as us going in.

Not saying it was a slam dunk, but closer than the casuals realize.
