after digesting it all earlier today....
Kids - at most, SOME were guilty of being immature and insensitive (those doing the chop). The kid in the stare down did pretty much nothing wrong. The other kids not chopping were singing/chanting/clapping long before the IM folks showed up.
IMs - the elder is completely full of shit. he absolutely lied about the circumstances, and the kids demeanor. the kids were not angry, the kids did not block him, the kids were not aggressive. In all the vids out there, I still can't hear anyone chanting "build that wall". Hell, even if they did, it's simply a counter protest to one of the IM's core platforms which is anti wall. And it is DC were protesters and counter protesters alike understand the expectations and climate. If anyone instigated anything or was aggressive it was the elder for going into the middle of the kids and squaring up on the one kid. or the other IM who cussed and told the kids to go back to Europe. The elder played CNN like a fiddle, who wanted badly to be played.
BIs - plain trash. They are the true evil in all of this. They mocked and spewed hate to everyone including the indians, both white and black students, women, Catholics, gays, and you name it. Why does CNN not run this? Because they are African American and doesn't fit their narrative of evil whites or evil Christians.
Media - plain trash as well. Rush to judgement, ignoring facts, and simple hypocrisy. How they complain about the fake news tag with a straight face is hilarious.
Society and social media - plain trash as well. Blind to the facts, and only interested in their narrative.
Covington Catholic - jumped the shark with a rush to judgement. They should apologize for the Indian Chop, but also explain clearly the facts and context. NO student should be expelled or punished. They should all receive sensitivity and common sense training. And they also need to whack themselves (the admin) for caving to media and hanging their students out to dry before all the facts were in.
