In a perfect world, Harbaugh would coach Michigan and Kiffen would coach USC for eternity.

Bo was a great coach but he didn't win much of anything. He had an abysmal record in the Rose Bowl. He was one of the greatest regular season coaches in scUM history. Woopie-do.

That to me epitomizes Michigan fans. They idolize a coach who didn't ACTUALLY win anything. To me that's like us idolizing BK, which no one does to my knowledge. We appreciate his efforts given the state of the program when he took over, and he's sustained success the past 4 years with one (monster outlier).

Has Harbaugh become a liability? Can opposing coaches use his name as a motivator? If your Frost do you suggest to your team that beating meat chicken could get Harbaugh fired as a motivator?

Damn, that really sucks for the kid. Very classy move by Harbaugh to honor the kid's scholarship. Feels so gross saying that.

Not to take away from the generous act, but doesn't this mean the kid will just automatically go on a medical hardship scholarship (when he arrives two years from now)? It won't affect Harbaugh at all, just the school's pocket, and they likely assume this is beneficial enough to the program to do this.

This is my thought as well. His scholarship will not effect the 85 limit or the football team. Gotta believe most schools would do the same thing.

Kid was never gonna play, so Harbaugh talked him into medical hardship to free up a future spot.
