My nightmare scenario is Harbaugh somehow gets by Kirby Smart. Then Bryce Young gets Covid, and scUM ends up our national champions .

I'm going to be so pissed Kelly lost to Cincinnati if that happens.

My nightmare scenario is Cincinnati ends up backdooring into the championship. Michigan winning as a defacto with 2-3 ineligible teams is a mighty close #2 bad scenario.

Look at the bright side. If Young was out & scUM beat them, we could taste Bama tears for decades saying they would’ve won if their QB wasn’t out….& then gently remind them about 2009 when they were told by UT fans that “had Colt McCoy not been knocked out of the game we would’ve won”….glass half full.

My wife has worked in ICU w/ COVID patients and concurs with your anecdote. Again, it’s just anecdotal but all the ones she’s treated were unvaxxed w/ co-morbidities.

I agree somewhat. The initial reason was to control spread within the clubhouse and community at large. Society's given up on mitigation measures and everyone's had a chance to get vaccinated. At the least we should use antigen tests to shorten isolation.

However, Marcus Freeman has a heart condition that makes him very high risk. WE MUST PROTECT MF

Under no circumstance would UM winning a National Championship be good for ND. None, zero, zip, nada.
Give it to Bama again for all I care, UM MUST NOT WIN…PERIOD.

OSU women’s basketball game that was scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled due to covid. They also had a game canceled last Tuesday. Didn’t see which program was dealing with the issues but two games eight days apart isn’t good for OSU. Hopefully the football is in more of a bubble.

I think both teams are headed to Arizona today. Fingers crossed that both are fully healthy.

I just read in a Sampson article on the Athletic that the Fiesta bowl will reschedule for any day prior to 1/8 if either team has Covid issues. If the extra 7-day window will get the team(s) with issues healthy enough to play, the Fiesta Bowl and ESPN say game on.

So we've got 24 hours before we hit the point of no return for the 10-day quarantine window for any potential positive cases (as long as I'm not miscounting or as long as the window isn't back to 14 days), so hopefully any issues would have already been identified prior to the team flying in.

Hopefully they rapid tested everyone upon arrival.

Weird Carmody isn’t listed. My initial thought was Fisher is not 100% so Carmody and Fisher would make sense. So Carmody is either hurt, COVID or…..

Depth chart for the line is the same as it's been for the last few games. Just swapped Fisher and Lugg. I wouldn't read anything into that about Carmody.

If Lugg is the only deletion we are in excellent shape. And if Fisher is good to go we’ve probably got an upgrade

Probably more to come

Gotcha. I assumed he was in there as at least a 3 or still thrown on the TE depth. Was his injury that bad? Can’t imagine he’s just with the 3s at this point, and LG has 3s

Could be the answer to running the ball against OSU. My only concern is Fisher’s stamina.

Yes Sampson/Prister/O’Malley have been clear that just b/c Fisher, Hamilton and others who were injured months ago may be “healthy” but still far from game ready.

They also basically laughed at the notion and kind made it sound like it was a dumb fan question to even ask about Fisher. Meanwhile Lugg was already hurt probably when they recorded.
