I like the matchup, but hate the start time.

Why is the game on the west coast the early start? 1 ET means an 11 o'clock kickoff in Arizona. Like...what?

Have the sugar bowl at 1, which is at least a respectable noon kickoff, and put the Fiesta Bowl on at 8. Makes no MF sense.

if this game starts at 1pm ET then the kickoff in arizona at the fiesta bowl would be a 10am kickoff local time. i agree makes no sense why the west coast game is the early game. i wonder how motivated OSU will be since they missed the playoffs by about 2 inches.

Glendale is 2 hours behind the east coast

This is a really exciting opportunity for the offense. We'll see how much we've actually improved.

SIAP, My thoughts are that for as good as OK ST's defense has been and as much as ND's offense struggled early on against better defenses, the offense also morphed over the second half of the year. The OL lineup got settled and they started to gel. Key freshmen contributors have generated a boost of explosiveness. Tommy's ability to speed up the tempo and get Coan into a rhythm. Bottom line, there are a lot of reasons to expect ND's offense to not look like the offense that played against Cincy or Wisconsin (even given the fact that those are very good defenses). If that makes sense...? Yes, ND's offensive explosion came against very bad defenses, but it needs to be noted that the offense changed dramatically over the second half of the year. I don't envision points coming easy against Ok State, but I also don't see ND struggling to move the ball the way they did earlier in the season.

On the other side of the ball, if the OK State offense we saw against Baylor is who shows up, they aren't scoring more than 14 points against this ND defense. Like others have pointed out, ND has too much NFL talent on that side of the ball and play as a very cohesive unit.

27 - 16 IRISH

ND covers, under 45 total points, Book it!

For anyone coming to the Valley for the game, ND will be staying at the Princess. The Princess backs up to the 4th hole on the TPC Stadium course so bring your sticks.

Rooms start at $534 per night. Then there is this tidbit, "Resort Experience Fee of $42 USD + taxes per room per night will be applied to the total rate."

I'm not a tight wad, but ouch!

Amazing that with a win, ND could finish with the highest final ranking of the Kelly Era (3).

how does NDs defense stack up against OSUs offense?

They're outside the Top 50 in both scoring and total offense. 45th in rushing, in the 70s in passing. This one has all the signs of a low scoring defensive struggle.

One thing we have to think about on both sides is that each team damn near 3 weeks to prepare for each other. The way the defense is playing it think this is extremely good for them. In our case the more practice the offense gets the better off we are.

What do we think the chances of Blake Fisher playing are?

i doubt he plays but im hoping he's back practicing at in full pads at full speed. i wouldn't play him for the bowl game, right now NDs offensive line has some continuity going for them and i wouldn't want to screw that up.

Someone tell Kyle Hamilton that he might get moved up to #1 overall if he picks off Spencer Sanders 3 times.

We are favored by 2.5. How do you kick 2.5 of a field goal?

Lines are almost always in half point increments to avoid pushes.

We are at the point where you could say always now. You wont see a whole number anywhere.

One thing to be concerned about is Sanders' ability to run the ball. Let me preface this by saying he isn't Sam Howell and OSU does not have a Josh Downs on the outside, but his ability to escape the pocket is one of the things the ND defense has struggled with at times this year. Hopefully with everyone getting healthy and with ample time to prepare, that can be mitigated. The only way I see OSU putting up 30+ points on ND is if Sanders puts up close to 100 yards rushing, like they did against OU.

There are a couple of factors I see moving the line. Either the announcement that KH IS playing and, early signing day Dec 15th.

And of course, how the betting goes.

I thought this meant the early signees can play in the game. Haha.

Thank you for the positive message.
This probably is not the site for me.

It’s all good. Clash will change your name if you let him know what you want.
