I hate James Franklin so I'll spare no tears for him, but man I didn't he would get fired in season the season after a semifinal appearance. I get this was an "all in" season, but still. Seems like an overreaction, but perhaps things had been percolating behind closed doors prior to this.

I absolutely do NOT understand why they want Rhule. I under he's an alum but still. That seems like at the very best a lateral, but to me a slight downgrade.

If Jim Knowles is available this offseason... Freeman has to reach out, right?
If the defense keeps playing this well, or close to it, I don't think we'll be in the market for a DC.

Franklin is a clown, but he won't be unemployed long. He gets his buyout and probably lands at a job with lower expectations where he will be fine. I think UNC, Va Tech or UCLA could be good for him.

Let the Nittnies keep chasing Nittnies
Let the Skunkbears keep chasing their Sherrones
Let the Trojans keep chasing their Sarks & Kiffins (who might have been good but needed to dry out or grow up some)

The more incestuous you make yourself in coaching searches, the worse it will be for you.
They run the risk of ignoring actual talent for some ersatz lived PSU/ScUM/U$C man experience.

Don’t a lot of buyouts have stipulations about getting hired and reducing the amount of money?

Might be better doing the Jimbo, and taking a few years off, golfing while collecting $50 some odd million.

I can't imagine Penn St didn't set it up like Fisher's deal. He gets paid $75 mill minimum, no matter what he's doing.

The only thing that changes if he gets hired is who pays how much of it.

I don’t anyone could convince me that that $50 million wouldn’t be better spent on NIL. Adding $5 million to the current payroll every year for the next 10 years probably makes them a top five team annually. Make it $10m over five years and you have a championship caliber roster.

Could you give us peasants a sparknotes run down? Or a snippet of the fun?

Every commit is decommitting or very unhappy. They’re all pissed at Loy, and Loy just keeps saying how he’s just doing his job (which he is).

Tom do you ever know when to just fũck off?
Tom, you’re a loser bro.
This was insensitive and poor timing. Shame on you.
