I blame Kelly for South Bend not being closer to North Carolina. Also, he convinced Aaron Lynch to marry his girlfriend. He made FSU's track and field program into a powerhouse just to make Darby want to go there. He de-emphasized the foreign language departments at high schools across the country so players wouldn't qualify for Notre Dame.

It's weird how this horrible coach and recruiter still gets 5 stars and has appeared in the national championship game.

LOL...yeah, he "appeared" all right. Too bad the team didn't. We had a great season, lots of **** went our way that maybe doesn't in another season. But I won't make reference to a game that we got run off the field in and act like it's a selling point. Come on. Bama is on a different level, and while everyone loses recruits, we just seem to lose more top notch guys.


So is it that we don't have a shot from the beginning, and are wasting our time?

Either way, BK may need to spend a little more time researching these kids PRIOR to offering them.

I don't consider Kiel a loss like those other guys. Kiel couldn't win the starting job and chose to find a place where he could easily (and didn't find many options available to him). I don't consider that a major loss, but that's just me.

Funny story... many stories locally about UC have said that Bennie Coney is putting himself in a nice position to be the QB of the future once Brendan Kay and Munchie Legeaux are gone after this season. Gunner even has his hands full at UC.
