That thread also made me realize that there's probably not some deeper meaning to the Hulk refusing to come out. He was just being kind of a pussy.

I must have read 20 different "what will happen in Avengers 4" stories and watched the same amount of youtube videos. So many different theories out there. I don't think we'll have a clearer picture until after we've seen Ant-Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel. Clearly those characters are going to play a major role in Avengers 4. I don't like the idea of the Watchers suddenly appearing and fixing things, or interfering, unless they are introduced and heavily featured in Captain Marvel. It just wouldn't make any sense considering they haven't been in the MCU yet. I don't count that couple second clip from GOTG 2 as a legit appearance either. Same thing for people saying Adam Warlock is going to show up. I take James Gunn at his word that Warlock won't be in Avengers 4. We've only been teased with his cocoon. He hasn't made an appearance and it really wouldn't make any sense for him to just show up out of nowhere and start fighting Thanos. The MCU wouldn't try to confuse it's more casual viewers like that. I don't really think we're going to get any new people introduced in Avengers 4. I also have no idea how they're going to fix everything.

I saw a theory that Captain Marvel may be powerful enough to wear the Infinity Gauntlet herself... not sure if they’d put her in that big of a plot-resolution roll in Avengers 4 considering she will have only been in one film by then, but I thought it was interesting.

They teased “time paradox repercussions” in Doctor Strange, so I think it would be neat if Doctor Strange set a timeloop or something before his death when he saw the one possibility at victory, making it possible for the Avengers to assemble all of the Infinity Stones themselves on a parallel timeline or something.

A woman challenged her wife to name all of the 'Avengers: Infinity War' characters after seeing just 2 Marvel movies and her answers are hilarious

I haven't seen it yet (don't care about spoilers), but this is extremely disappointing. Vision is supposed to be borderline OP.

Korg, Valkyrie and 1/2 Asgardians escaped after Thanos attacked the ship. This is per the Russo's. Also Thor mentions 1/2 of Asgardians were killed on the ship. It was real quick.

To be fair, the reason he’s useless is because he’s relegated to an operating table for the majority of the film. Before that, he’s useless because he has learned how to love and is staying in seclusion for Wanda’s sake.

He is in wakanda and I think he will return. They made a big deal about him being able to exist with out the mind stone. There was some dialogue about it and if anyone can do it, my babe Shuri can.

Without the mind stone, sure.

But with half of his AI skull ripped out? Idk man, Shuri’s got some work to do lol.

But I guess if there’s any material that could foster an AI reanimation from catastrophic physical damage, it would be some type of modified vibranium.

If your girl Shuri had done her job, Vision would still be alive.

Shuri put the Panther Gloves on and went at that dude from the Black Order with no hesitation. She's a super genius AND she's got no fear.

Of course, she got her ass beat almost immediately... but at least she's got more balls than the Hulk lol.

Doug’s dead. Meek survived. He will ultimately steal the gauntlet from Thanos and restore the universe.

Doug's been dead. The MCU has not seen him alive. New Doug is still alive and in Wakanda with Stormbreaker.

Korg and Miek will show up near the start of Avengers 4: "Hey mate...I'm Korg. This is my buddy Miek. We got this ship and are going to go beat Thanos and bring the other half of the people of the universe back. Wanna come?"

PS: That Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 movie is looking a little empty right now.

The Vision is basically a good guy Ultron. He should be able to survive anything through replication.

I think Scarlet Witch going insane and altering reality is the key to bringing mutants into the MCU, assuming the Disney-Fox deal goes through. And the key to Scarlet Witch going insane is to manipulate her love for Vision.

I don't think they can go that way with things in Avengers 4, but perhaps that's how they set something up with a future film?

UPCOMING MARVEL MOVIES:

Ant-Man and the Wasp
Release date: July 6, 2018

A much-needed palate cleanser after Avengers: Infinity War, Paul Rudd's getting back in the microsaddle as Scott Lang. Lang's still on the run after being sprung from prison in Civil War, but he's reconnecting with old friends. These include Michael Peña's manic, scene-stealing Luis, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), who will be fighting alongside Ant-Man as the Wasp. Hannah John-Kamen will be portraying Ghost, one of the film's villains.

Captain Marvel
Release date: March 8, 2019

It's hard to ignore how often the MCU films interlock, and that's especially true with the upcoming Captain Marvel film. The film is our formal introduction to Carol Danvers, who will play the titular role in the movie.Captain Marvel takes place during the 1990s, and will include Samuel L. Jackson reprising the role of Nick Fury, Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson, Lee Pace as Ronan (who was dubbed Ronan the Accuser in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 1) and Djimon Hounsou as Korath. Jude Law will play Mar-Vell.

Untitled Fourth Avengers Film
Release date: May 3, 2019

We used to refer to this film as Avengers: Infinity War, Part 2, but then directors Anthony Russo and Joseph Russo decided to scrap that name, saying Infinity War stands on its own. Still, Infinity War's cliffhanger ending certainly feels like the setup for a major conclusion. As for what the film will be titled, Anthony Russo told Bustle, "We do have a name for it, we're just not announcing it," before elaborating, "And I think we came to that name fairly early in the development process. It speaks to the heart of the story."Little is known about this film, other than that Gamora will make an appearance, as actress Zoe Saldana seemed to suggest in a recent interview with E! News. Oh, and Joe Russo said that Valkyrie's still alive, during a Q&A session at an Iowa high school.

Spider-Man: Homecoming Sequel
Release date: July 5, 2019

Tom Holland's Spider-Man franchise is set to have a sequel, but we've got little intel on it. Holland is set to come back; Marisa Tomei is possibly returning as Aunt May; and Zendaya may also reprise the role of Mary Jane. Events in film will likely take place after those of the fourth Avengers film.

Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3
Release date: Sometime in 2020

No matter what happens in these next movies, the galaxy will still need guarding. Director James Gunn formalized the news of the third Guardians of the Galaxy chapter in a Facebook post, and confirmed that he'll be writing and directing the movie.

Black Panther 2
Release date: TBA

Of all the expected future MCU films, we know the least about the second Black Panther film. According to Collider, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has expressed an interest in bringing Ryan Coogler back to direct, and that Marvel will schedule the film's production when it's convenient for Coogler.

Additional dates from another site:

May 1, 2020 - Untitled Marvel Movie
July 31, 2020 - Untitled Marvel Movie 2
November 6, 2020 - Untitled Marvel Movie 3
May 7, 2021 - Untitled Marvel Movie 4
July 31, 2021 - Untitled Marvel Movie 5
November 5, 2021 - Untitled Marvel Movie 6
February 18, 2022 - Untitled Marvel Movie 7
May 6, 2022 - Untitled Marvel Movie 8
July 29, 2022 - Untitled Marvel Movie 9

So Guardians will be one. Black Panther another. Most likely more Dr. Strange. Black Widow solo was mentioned as well as Eternals. Perhaps those dates could be Fantastic Four/X-Men should Fox go through.

I think they definitely set things in motion as far as Wanda losing her shit.

This is why I hated the MCU origin of Vision. Using the mind stone made it seem as though that's what actually gave him "life", so where do you go from there now that it's gone? If they do bring him back, it's going to be a bunch of "Yea, but..." questions (I know, comic book logic, but still). There was a story where Vision couldn't originally be put back together in the comics because the brain patterns he was made from replicating (I can't remember who it was) couldn't be replicated again, so I guess there is precedent (he did eventually come back obviously).

Because the MCU is still pretty small, I'm guessing Mutants just end up showing up one day. No big bang or anything like that. They'll explain it with something like when Vision had the mind stone, he saw that there were mutants, but Prof X reached out and asked him to keep it a secret. Probably with an origin movie or two followed by a cross-over film with some mutants helping that version of the Avengers.

They'll probably use House of M as a reboot when actors contracts run out years from now.
