Maybe my biggest takeaway:

Whoever the DJ was tonight needs to be hired forever. Mo Bamba? Grove Street Party? CRAZY TRAIN?!?

Tonight was awesome. Been an ND fan for real since 1995. I was 8. I watched the first half tonight with my four year old son.

We DOMINATED tonight. DOMINATED.

Al Golden. This defense. Holy shit.

Riley Leonard. J Love. This offense. Mitch Jeter?!? Holy shit.

Onward fellas. UGA doesn’t know what they’re getting on New Years.

WE did it. ND Nation baby. We fucking did it.

The fact that Indiana was getting pressure rushing four is problematic moving forward.

This defense is the most athletic I’ve seen since Holtz. Would be all time great if healthy on d line.

Good stuff fellas. Well done.

Faison was good.
Leonard was good.
Loves run was fabulous as was that fend. I'd say amongst the Heisman favorites for 2025.
It seemed like Moore was all over them again.
Don't know about the OL.

Observation: Snaps were too high it seemed. RL reached up every time.

Everything else was satisfactory.

1. Injuries are the main concern.

2. Faison did a heck of a job rebounding after that first drop, and I thought Leonard did a fantastic job overall.

3. The OL cannot play that way against Georgia. They got whipped in the interior for a lot of the game.

4. Love is going to be one heck of a pro. Truly elite, makes so many insane plays.

5. I thought the Mitch Jeter 49 yard field goal was a total tone setter. I had no doubt after that kick that the team would come out in the second half and finish the game.

If you read this and you were at the game:

Fuck yes fellas. Especially @wizards8507. Guy had sex twice, was pounding IPAs in the backseat of a sedan, and had to make a 8pm kick. Who knows if that motherfucker made it through.

It was so loud in there. It sounded so much different. We had a home field advantage.

  • Leonard Moore is a stud.
  • Jeremiyah Love is awesome, and had a Barry Sanders style stat line - one carry for 98 yards surrounded by seven carries for 10 yards.
  • OL play was very inconsistent, and they really need Spindler back for the Georgia game. Hope whatever leg ailment it is isn't significant.
  • Leonard bailed the pocket way too early on a number of occasions, and was a little too tentative (perhaps a byproduct of the early INT), but he played a solid game.
  • Faison had a low key great game with RAC. Really maximized his yards in some tight quarters.
  • Rylie Mills was beasting before he got hurt - like Spindler on the offensive side, Notre Dame really needs him next week.
  • Linebacker play was great all night.
  • Good overall bounceback for Jeter (that 49 yarder was huge) despite the chunked pitching wedge that was blocked.
  • Rendell is still a frightening sight punting.
  • Oh, and Leonard Moore is a stud.
On to Georgia. I am excited for the Sugar Bowl.

I’m so glad to lift that off my shoulders,… honestly,…. I’ve spent the first 25 plus years of my adult life without seeing this team win a big postseason game. I felt sick all week, yeah just being honest, waiting for this game and thinking that I’ve been screaming for a favorable match up in a major post season game for decades and to finally get it I just turtled,… not gonna lie. I ignored my inbox and texts and felt just sick,… it was strange. I’m so glad to just get this behind us all. I’m hopeful by what might happen ,…….
