Were you doing the speed limit when you got this glimpse? The look on their faces makes me think they can't wait to get cut loose and start committing crimes.
Were you doing the speed limit when you got this glimpse?
For your misguided soul, I was simply commenting that someone had decided to drop them there. There was no bus or truck, so they probably weren't hitchhiking. But explain to me why is it so hard for you to want all immigrants to come into the country legally?

In case you forgot, this is my daughter in law. I care for her very much even if she's from Columbia.

This is the part you can NEVER get a straight answer to from liberals. They'll dodge, reword the question, answer something you didn't ask, obfuscate, stall, spin, and deflect, but can't just give a reasonable, straight answer to no matter what. I would love to hear an honest, sensical explanation, but no matter how many times or ways I've asked, I've never gotten one.But explain to me why is it so hard for you to want all immigrants to come into the country legally?
Who would rather them come here illegally? The current US immigration system takes 3 years on average to grant green cards. That's just way too slow so people are going to do whatever they have to to flee dangerous shit holes. Reform the process to take far less time like it did 100 years ago and expand H1-Bs and you'll see a big reduction in illegal immigration. This is the part you can NEVER get a straight answer to from liberals. If they want US citizenship, they need to go through that process and it's worth it. If they legitimately qualify for asylum, they are to seek refuge at the next closest country. Being poor isn't a qualification for asylum in the US.Who would rather them come here illegally? The current US immigration system takes 3 years on average to grant green cards. With birth rates continuing to go down and the pressures that seem to be driving it only getting worse (income inequality) we need to bolster our population somehow or we will be looking at a crash like the one that's facing China right now.
Also it's worth noting that the numbers have been posted in here over and over again showing that illegals are a net positive towards the economy and commit crimes at a lower rate than natural born citizens.
No one is arguing the positive to labor force. Imagine how much tax revenue would increase if they were here legally. There are still a lot of illegals getting paid off the books. The process to get in may be three years but needs to be honored. I’m fine with adding personnel or changes to speed up the process.Who would rather them come here illegally? Sure didn’t read it like that when you’re commenting on Jigga’s post which missed the mark.It was a joke lol
Strong words for a guy who commented "they look like they just want to commit crimes".Sure didn’t read it like that when you’re commenting on Jigga’s post which missed the mark.
Care to explain why is it so hard for you to want all immigrants to come into the country legally?
A president, his party, the legislators and policy makers from his party, and the voters who elect them all sure seem to. They absolutely 100% incentivize coming here illegally and take no meaningful steps to slow it down, let alone stop it. It's hard to argue you don't want them coming in illegally when the politicians you elect do everything imaginable to encourage them to do so and make it easy.Who would rather them come here illegally? My point was that it’s preferable to none at all for the points I made, but I think most would prefer the process for legal immigration be expedited and the numbers expanded. Democrats aren’t the ones that would be blocking that.A president, his party, the legislators and policy makers from his party, and the voters who elect them all sure seem to. I may have missed it, but I haven’t seen you post anything against those coming in illegally so that gives one the impression that you don’t care how they enter.Strong words for a guy who commented "they look like they just want to commit crimes".
Where did I say I don't want them to come in legally? No need to make things up, just quote my posts.
That was in response to a group of all male migrants arriving in 5.11 gear. Do they need to have rocket launchers on them before you admit they might not be a good neighbor?Strong words for a guy who commented "they look like they just want to commit crimes".
So which post are basing this position on?I may have missed it, but I haven’t seen you post anything against those coming in illegally so that gives one the impression that you don’t care how they enter.
Isn’t that the kind of stuff that gets you hard though? Seeing army manly man in there big tough guy cosplay outfits? It’s just that these guys are migrants (not illegals, we’re just going with migrants now) and well brown guys in army surplus store gear is not ok!That was in response to a group of all male migrants arriving in 5.11 gear. Take a step back there big slugger, my indifference to those who can’t formulate a coherent thought other than glorifying yesteryears doesn’t mean I’m some anarcho-tankie.
On some shifts, firefighters with the Eagle Pass Fire Department can spend three to five hours in the water, helping rescue migrants crossing the river or recovering their drowned bodies.
This is the wild part of nonchalantly opening the floodgates to the world. People in the world hate us and want to destroy the USA. Why wouldn't we want them hanging out here in Army gear? Just give them a Toyota and machine gun, too. Makes perfect sense.Isn’t that the kind of stuff that gets you hard though? Seeing army manly man in there big tough guy cosplay outfits? Chuck Schumer has not acted upon the Secure the Border Act of 2003. The President, who has signed many executive orders to open the border and could fix this with a pen, has chosen not to act. Everyone knows this is 100% Democrats' fault.Who keeps allowing the legislation to fizzle out and not get to the floor?

I have an idea. Let's play the Toronto Yes or No game.
Asking Toronto...........I am against all immigrants (of any color) coming into this country without going through the governments immigration process even if it is slow.
Yes or No

Everyone just wants to get along. All people are wonderful.
It's not controversial, but it's not sustainable. While we should assist, the US can't solve everyone's problems and take everyone.Yes.
I am against it because I believe the Government should have better systems in place to assist those that are in the position to have to cross illegally because of the current situation. The Government should do a better job helping those they've displaced through destabilizing activities in other countries. Government = Western Countries (not just the US).
I don't think the individuals should be demonized for their material conditions being destroyed by corrupt actors at home and an archaic immigration system in place.
That is my stance, I don't think that should be controversial.
