I completely agree. Most of the best cable shows generally have seasons about half the length of broadcast TV. Off the top of my head, Game of Thrones, True Detective, Justified, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, etc. all have seasons in that 10 to 15 episode range. The 20+ episode seasons work better for sitcoms or case-of-the-week crime/medical shows that are more about contained narratives than sweeping arcs.I think one of the keys to Agent Carter and the coming group of Netflix Marvel showsis that they are set up as limited run series. Agent Carter is to be 8 episodes in the season, and I believe each of the Netflix 4 are to be about 10 episodes and then come together as a group for a short series as well.
This allows them to tell an in depth story with episodic elements without having to drag things out too much or put an overall arc on the back burner so they can fill out 22 episodes a year. I like Agents of SHIELD, but there are times where you go, what was the point of that episode, or go ahead and get to the point. I like the other times when things move fast and furious like fallout from Captain America: Winter Soldier directly effecting the team, their universe, and seeing how things shake out

Speaking of that, any of you guys watch "Forever"?
It's like if Sherlock Holmes was a medical examiner rather than a consulting detective, and also less of an asshole, and also was immortal and woke up in a large body of water every time he died.
I enjoy it greatly, even though it's slow at times.

Ant-Man Trailer
Feige said that Ant-Man would be “one of the most surprisingly emotional” movies yet to be released by them. He continues, “Hank Pym invented the Ant-Man technology, went on many adventures and is now much older and trying to recruit a new person, it’s the first film we’ve made in which the story is about a torch being passed, essentially.”

Can we talk about how hot Hayley Atwell is?
They'd still be cold on the inside like all Hot Pockets. Just sayinShe is so hot she could could cook hot pockets just by holding them.
My wife knows that if Kate Beckensale or Haley Atwell come calling, that she risks being single again.
What type of phone does a man who has everything need? A sleek and metallic phone that features cutting edge technology designed specifically for Tony Stark. With a striking flexible display, the phone features two different curved panels, taking inspiration from Samsung's Galaxy Note Edge so that important information is displayed separately from the main screen. The device features a hologram glass user interface with finger print security so that even if the device gets into the wrong hands, Tony Stark's personal data stays secure and out of the hands of the enemy.
I just realized that Jessica Jones is Jesse Pinkman's dead girlfriend. Mind blown.
I'm a bit behind the times so I'm just getting to binge watching Breaking Bad on Netflix. I was hoping she'd be a redeeming figure who would save Jesse, but alas Breaking Bad, like Game of Thrones, won't let us have nice things.I was so happy when Walt let her die. I can't stand that bitch.
